Chapter 43 - Alana
Despite the feelings of fear and anxiety that raced through my chest, curiosity and wondering were also flowing through my veins as I left the room that seemed more like a prison from where I could only go when they allowed me to.
Looking both ways, I didn't even know which hallway I should follow until I decided to go in the direction I had never gone before, leading me into thousands more, almost as if I were inside a labyrinth now.
Taking a deep breath, I tried to keep calm before I became as desperate as a young child, and by doing so, I could feel the gentle breeze wafting past my body, indicating that the path to my right connecting to the outside world somehow.
