Chapter 17 - Ka'lih
Feeling lost amid so many unsure things at that moment, I didn't know what to do as she seemed to relax in my touch, stopping me from removing the hand from her face... Enjoying that sweet time, which seemed to happen between us.
Perhaps she didn't even realize what she was doing, brushing her skin against the palm of my hand as if she were a cub looking for the affection of her parents... Yet, I couldn't deny how much it makes me feel closer to her for the first time.
... Looking in her eyes, I could see much more in them than the brown color as the land of the desert after a rain...
There was something in them that I didn't know how to explain, as if they had a blue glow in them or something else, a unique thing that belonged to her, and I wasn't sure what it was.
