Alpha's Regretted Rejection

Chapter 4

Traylor, Ladon, and Midas are in the hotel lobby waiting on their parents and the pack. Ladon's still in disbelief that Traylor rejected his mate.

"Man, last night I picked up this she-wolf. Her ass was a freak. I mean a pure freak." Midas is smiling and rubbing his hands together. He looks at Traylor and Ladon.

Traylor is looking out of the window. Ladon is looking at Traylor. Neither one of them is listening to Midas.

"I just have to stay away from Deirdre, hell I know that she is going to want to f**k. That is not going to happen, I don't want her like that anymore. The more I think about it I don't care to be around her at all. Damn, I cheated on my girlfriend with my mate. Then I turned around and did the stupidest thing that I have ever done in my life. I rejected my mate. My lovely sweet Nayla." He's thinking as Deirdre is walking over to him. He's so deep in thought that he didn't notice her approaching him.

She wraps her arms around him. "Tray, I missed you. I was so scared last night when those rogues attack." Deirdre leans in to kiss him. He turns his head. She looks at him in disbelief

Some of the she-wolves are looking at her shaking their heads and rolling their eyes at her.

Traylor pulls her hands off of him." But you're okay." He walks away from her. "I will die before I cause Nayla any more pain. I have caused her enough already." He's thinking.

His mother is looking at him. "Something is different about my son. He has never resisted that tramp before. Believe me, I'm not complaining. But I want to know what is going on with him." She's thinking as she walks over to him.

Ladon is looking at Traylor shaking his head. "How could he do that to his mate?" He is thinking

Midas is looking at Deirdre and then his attention goes on Traylor, thinking. "What is up with him? He has been acting strange ever since he saw his mate. Damn, she is beautiful."

His mother lay her hand on Traylor's shoulder. "Son, what's going on with you?" You seem different. What happened while you were here to cause to turn about?"

Traylor looks at the floor. "Nothing, nothing at all" he shakes his head

She lays her finger on his chin, lifting his head. So she can look at his face "Son I'm your mother. You can't fool me. Now tell me."

"Well, mother I found my mate." He looks at his mother than at Deirdre. She's still looking at him.

His mother is looking at him concerned. "You don't sound happy about it at all. This should be an exciting time in your life."

Traylor looks at his mother than on the floor. "I rejected her."

"What did you say, you did?" She asks looking at him. "I know I didn't hear him right." She is thinking.

He takes a deep breath and still looking at the door. "I rejected her."

"Boy, what's wrong with you? Why on earth would you reject your mate?" His mother is shaking her head and her finger at him.

"Because of Deirdre. I promised her that she would be my Luna." He glances over at Deirdre she is still looking at him.

"Let me see if I can understand all of this. You rejected the one that was designed for you for a conniving whore." His mother is looking at Deirdre "I do not believe this shit."

"Why does everyone keep saying that about her?" He looks up at her

"Because it is the truth. Son, you have a lot to learn. But that thing will never be Luna. Even I have to stay Luna for the rest of my life." His mother walks away from him.

"Oh, s**t," He's looking at his mother's back.

"Nayla"

Nayla and Maka drive up the driveway to her pack. She looks at her house as she parks. She takes a deep breath and looks at Maka. "After I tell my mother what happened I'll be in my bedroom for a while. If anyone needs me"

Maka lays her hand on Nayla's "It's going to be okay. I don't know what your mother is going to say. So I am going home to talk to my father."

"Okay, but keep your link open. I don't know what time my mother's friend and her pack will arrive." Nayla steps out of her car. She takes a deep breath. "Mother, mother" Nayla is looking around the house.

"Hi, sweetie." Her mother is walking down the hall closer to her. She looks at her daughter. "Oh, sweetie are you okay?" Sedna reaches for her daughter to hug her.

"Yes, I am fine. I'll live." Nayla hugs her mother back and lays her head against her.

Her mother kisses the back of Nayla's head "Now tell mother what happened. I feel your pain."

Nayla is still in her mother's arms. "I met my mate, but he rejected me after he marked and we completed the mating process."

"That bastard. But it's going to be okay. He wasn't the one for you. Your second chance mate will be the right one for you. What's the fool's name?" Sedna kisses Nayla's head again.

"To be honest I don't want to speak or hear his name ever. I hope you don't mind, but I prefer not to say. I just want to forget about the Alpha jerk." Nayla is looking up at her mother.

"That's understandable. I'm so proud of you. You're handling it very well." Her mother is rubbing her back.

"I'll be in my bedroom for a while" Nayla is walking toward the stairs

"Oh, sweetie Cleo called. She said what is left of her pack will be here shortly. I'm sure that you would like to meet with them when they arrive." Sedna is walking down the hall

"Sure, just let me know when they get here." Nayla is running up the stairs. She sees Chaske walking down the stairs

"Nay when did you get back?" He hugs her

"A few minutes ago." She hugs him back

"Do you want to ride with me to the store? I'm just going to the store down the street." He asks smiling at her.

"As much as I would love to. I am going to relax a little before my mother's friend arrives. Plus I need to meet with her higher ranks. Just to make sure that they know our rules." Nayla walks up two steps more but she is still looking at Chaske.

"We have everything ready for them. Alpha Sedna said that the two Alphas and the Luna will be living with you. How about later this evening you and I go for a ride and get some ice cream?" Chaske is walking down the stairs.

"Okay, I would love to go. But I wasn't expecting any of them to be in the same house as me. But it's okay as long as my mother is happy." Nayla is walking to get on an elevator.

Chaske stops walking looking at her. "Are you sure that you are okay with this?"

"I think so. I will see you when you come back from the store." Nayla is standing in the open elevator door looking at him.

"Okay" He smiles as he is walking down the stairs

The doors close on the elevator. "It's good to be home." She is thinking as the doors open and she walks into her bedroom and walk into her closet. She changes into a pair of black skinny jeans, a white tank top, and a pair of white Vans. Nayla sits down on her bed, combs, and brushes her hair into two pigtails. After she is finished with her hair she lay on the bed, closes her eyes. "Alpha asshole" she whispers as she drifts off to sleep.

"Traylor"

When we were loading up to drive to New Jersey I let Midas drive my black 2020 Alfa Romeo GTV. Ladon and I are planning on talking to our parents about the attack and the hackers. I also have to come up with a way to get my pack situated and rebuilt. As soon as I open the door to my father's Navigator Deirdre runs and jumps in it. Everyone is looking at her. Because none of us had any idea that she was riding with us.

His mother and Ladon's mother Eleni are looking at her shaking their heads.

"Since you sent our mate away. I will only shift and fight for you as long as you don't f**k anyone else. But the first time you f**k someone else especially that stink ass Deirdre I am out of here. What kind of Alpha can you be without a wolf? " Apollo yells in Traylor's head. Apollo hasn't talked much since Traylor rejected their mate. So Traylor is surprised when he hears Apollo talking to him

Traylor listens to Apollo, he can feel for some reason his wolf is feeling anxious. But Apollo didn't say anything else.

Azarious keeps looking at Taylor in the rearview mirror, thinking. "Something is going on with my son. I sure as hell hope he has come to his sense about that thing sitting next to him"

"s**t I wonder did my mother tell him what I did?" Traylor is wondering as he is looking at his father looking at him.

"Tray, Alpha Sedna's pack is the largest and the strongest in New Jersey. Her mate Koda was killed by rogues last year. It took ten or eleven of those son of a bitches to take him out. Koda was one hell of a warrior." His father glances at him in the mirror again

"Yes, he was. Their daughter is the Alpha now. Their pack is stronger now than it was before." Cleobello looks over at her son.

"It seems that she's a good Alpha. My first step is to start working on building the company up. Hopefully, I will find out soon who is behind this shit." Traylor frowns, hits Deirdre's hand. One of her hands is on his thigh the other one is on his pants zipper. She's trying to unzip them. So she can slide her hand inside of them to play with his d**k. He hit her hand again. "Stop doing that shit." He whispers looking at her

She rolls her eyes at him.

Ladon looks at her shaking his head. "Pack hussy. She has f****d almost every young pack member in our pack." He is thinking as he is looking at her disgusted. "I know that I have slept around but I will never reject my mate." He is thinking as he is looking at her as she folds her hand

"Are we there yet?" Deirdre asks looking at Cleobello with a fake smile.

But Cleobello ignores her starts texting.

Deirdre looks around at everyone in the Suv. "Are we there yet?"

"Girl shut the hell up," Ladon said as the Navigator is turning into a long paved driveway. Traylor's father is shaking his head. When the house finally came into view. It is a Grand French Chateau Style Mega mansion. A 2020 black Aston Martin Valkyrie is sitting in the driveway.

Ladon and Deirdre are looking at the car smiling.

"s**t that is one hell of a car. Expensive too" Ladon's father Galen is walking around the car looking at it.

"Damn I wonder where is the guy that owns it" Deirdre whispers looking around the yard.

Everyone except Traylor is looking at her, shaking their heads.

"This is who my son wants to be his Luna. Lord help us all." His father is thinking as he is looking at Traylor.

Traylor is looking around the yard. He sniffs the car. "Jasmine and lavender. This is my sweet Nayla's car" He's thinking

"Mate is here. Go get her" Apollo yells

"Yes, I know. I smell her sweet beautiful scent. Stop yelling in my head." Traylor is looking at a Native American middle-aged woman and man walking out of the mansion.

"Welcome to Dawn Feather pack. Everything is ready for you and your members. Chepi and Adsila will get your pack feed and settle in. This is my Beta Makya. He'll take the higher ranks to their lodging in a few minutes. Cleo, you, Azarious, and the new Alpha will be living in the house with me and my daughter." Sedna hugs Cleobella.

Traylor is still looking around and sniffing for Nayla. "Where is your daughter?" He asks Sedna as she is leading them into the house.

"Why is he asking her about her damn daughter" Deirdre is thinking as she looks at him and reaches for his hand. He snatches it away from her.

Sedna is looking at the two of them. "My daughter is upstairs relaxing. She will be down shortly. Tonight everyone will eat together in the backyard. We want to welcome you all here with a gathering."

Ladon sees that Traylor is sniffing and looking around the room. He mind-links him. "What is wrong with you?"

"My sweet Nayla is here" Traylor smiles as he mind-links him back

"This is going to be one hell of a year" Ladon's thinking as he's looking at Deirdre
