CHAPTER 18

"SAVILLE?" agad na nilingon ako ni Saville at tumakbo palapit sa akin habang hawak ang bowl ng popcorn na natatapon na.

"Mama!" nang makalapit sa akin ay mahipit niya akong niyakap na parang nabitin sa yakap niya sa akin kanina. "Mama, akala ko mamaya ka pa pupunta dito." Sabi niya na medyo bulol.

"He can speak Tagalog... wow." Napalingon si Saville kay Cade na nagsalita.

"Yes po, Sir–I mean Uncle Cade. Granny, Grandpa, and Mama taught me to." Pagmamalaki pa ni Saville.

Binuhat ko si Saville at umupo sa gilid ng kama. I think they will get along well. Saville is a nice kid and Cade seems like kids.

"Baby, Mama wants to say something." panimula ko.

Inosente ang mukha niyang nakahanda sa sasabihin ko nang umupo sa tabi ko si Cade. Nginitian lang niya ako. "You asked a million times when you gonna have a father. You know I'm too young to be your mother and I never introduced to you a boyfriend of mine and I didn't have one." Nilingon ko si Cade kaya napalingon din si Saville. "And Uncle Cade wants to be your father. We just started this relationship so I'm having a hard time telling him about you—" napatigil ako sa pagsasalita ng biglang umiyak si Saville at yumakap sa akin.

"Oh god." Napayakap nalang ako sa anak ko.

I don't know hows it feels not having a complete family since my Dad loves my Mommy wholeheartedly but seeing him asking when he gonna have a father really hurts me.

Every time he was seeing a family bonding in a park with me, he will hug me and say that he's thankful that I'm his mother and he loves me.

"Papa Cade." Humihikbing tawag ni Saville kay Cade. Halos maluha na ako sa itsura ng anak kong masaya pero todo ang pag iyak.

Nakangiting pinunasan ni Cade ang pisnge ni Saville. "Want to go to a park later?" Umiiyak paring tumango si Saville. He's so cute with his trembling lips.

Saville looked at me. "Mama, I'm happy." He said while wiping his tears. "I love you, Mama."

Naluha ako nang halikan niya ang sa pisnge lalo na ng punasan niya ang luha ko. "Papa Cade, love my Mama, okay? Take care of her too."

"I will, kiddo."

I see how happy Saville while he's with Cade. We're going out of the house when suddenly remember that I need to talk to Daddy. "Ahm... Cade, Saville, I want to talk to Daddy first. You go first. I called Matthew to guard you two." 

"Was it okay?" Tinanguan ko si Cade na buhat buhat si Saville. 

"Just minutes of talk. Just around the city, okay? Don't go far." I kissed them both before going up to Daddy's office.

He was reading some papers when I entered. His usual routine here. Dad always here in his big office, reading some papers, signing some papers, and reviewing some stuff. If he's not in front of his dozens of folders, he's talking to anybody.

"How's my grandson?" Walang lingong tanong ni Daddy.

"He's happy. We will have our little bond." Tumango si Daddy. He signed the paper before looking at me.

"Princess, you know that it's dangerous for you to be here since your Mom died. But honestly, I want you to know that this matter is not about business and the title." 

I was shocked that he tells me this. He never opens this topic between us since he said he can handle it but after 3 years we're still in this situation.

"What's the problem, Dad? Be honest to me this time." I looked at him seriously. When it comes to this matter he never loose to my looks. He's stronger than my eyes. He's my Daddy after all.

"I know you're happy. I don't want to push you to your limits. I know how your brain works and I want you to choose your happiness."

I can't think straight. He confuses me. 

"Tell me what is it so could help you. Dad, You protected me for more than three years without knowing what's the real reason. I have a right to know."

"Savi, It will be hard for you. Just... Just be happy, stay here, spend time with us, I'll handle it all. After that, you and Cade will get married, right away."

I'm not convinced with the word he'll handle it all. I'm involved it means I may fix it.  

I shook my head. "I'm not agree with you this time. Daddy, you always listen to my opinions and this time let me help you not just hearing my opinions. Tell me what is the problem."

He sighed. "Princess, it will be hard for you. I will let you know but please take a rest and have fun with Cade and your son. Saville needs you, Savannah."

He called me Savannah. He's ending the conversation but I don't want to.

"I need to know, Dad," I said calmly.

He stood up. "Okay, I will tell you just please, please, Princess. Not now. I want you to have fun here. It's your home this should be your haven. But instead, you're here to relax and have fun, you're here asking what's the problem so you could help me. Trust me. Trust your old man." Napahinga nalang ako ng malalim dahil kay Daddy. 

He said please.

I walk over to him and hugged him. "Dad, you can always tell me. I'm just here. I love you, Dad."

He hugged me back. "I love you too, Princess."

After that tensional talk with Daddy I call Cade. They're in a park so I drive to that park. Our conversation never leaves my mind while driving. He's being a father to me. And when he's in that state he can't tell me because of his doubts.

Pagkalabas ko sa kotse ay agad kong nakita sila Saville na nasa isang bench at kumakain ng ice cream. "Mama!" Tumatakbo niyang sigaw palapit sa akin.

Binuhat ko si Saville at lumapit kay Cade na ngayon ay malawak ang ngiting nakatingin sa akin. "How's the talk?" Nakanguso akong lumapit sa kanya habang buhat si Saville. 

"I still don't know why he asked me here." Naupo ako sa bench na inupuan nila malapit sa parking lots. 

"It will be alright. I'm here to protect you and them." Kahit papaano ay gumaan ang pakiramdam ko lalo na nang humalik sa pisnge ko si Saville.

"I know it's dangerous for us to be in a public. Thank you for going out with us, Papa Cade." Ang cute niyang mukha ang nagpangiti sa akin. "Mama, we can't go out always, I will understand if we bond in my room or on yours." Nilingon ni Saville si Cade.

"Papa, Mama, can I sleep with you tonight?" 

"Of course." Nakangiting sabi ni Cade.

It was supposed to be our night because Cade wants to make love to me in my room. But looks like he likes spending the day with Saville. That's what I more like about him. 

We ate, talked, and played in the park and it was a wonderful day with Saville. Before we used to play in a park too but just the two of us with lots of bodyguards and every time he's seeing a family I always see sadness and envy in his eyes.

We're in Saville's room guiding him to answer his homework. He's really a smart kid because he knows most of the questions without asking us. May ilang mali pero agad namang pinapaintindi ni Cade.

"Isn't it fun?" Cade asked when we went to my room. Saville is taking a shower with help of his maids.

"It was." I smiled sweetly at him.

I never thought of this with Cade. It feels like God gave his gift to me. Is this the end? We're happy now. But suddenly, I remembered my conversation with Daddy this noon. I guess we're not in the end.

Napayakap ako sa kanya. "You okay?" yumakap siya sa akin at bigla nalang akong binuhat. "You're thinking something, right? Mukhang hindi ako makaka-score ngayon." Biro niya na ikinatawa ko rin.

Pumasok kami sa bathroom ng kwarto ko. "Bawi nalang ako bukas?" Ibinaba na niya ako at isa isang hinubad ang damit niya. 

"It's fine. I was just kidding you." Sabi niya.

As I take off my clothes, my eyes didn't leave his eyes full of lust while looking at me. Every time I'm looking at his eyes with lust is not just raw lust. I just smiled and entered the shower room, he followed.

We just started our relationship but it feels like we work hard for it. Maybe because we kept this feelings for too long?
