How could I have forgotten my own niece? She's my favorite person. Not to agree entirely with Luca, but I think I finally grasp what he means about priorities. Just ten minutes ago, before he unexpectedly showed up at the lodge, I was completely taken with the idea of Hannah being the best thing in my life. Our kiss last night was electrifying, especially when she did that wild thing with her tongue and had her hands on me. It was incredible until she inadvertently confessed that she wanted me to sleep with her just to make Luca jealous. That instantly killed the mood for me, though I chalked it up to her being hurt, painfully aware of her lingering feelings for Luca.
