Hannah's POV
Every part of my body hurts. It's like I've been run over by a bus. I'm laid on my bed but unable to move, unable to feel my body. My mind reprimands me from remembering what happened with my father and his coven. I remember saying yes to him taking out the protection spell, but I do not remember what happened afterwards. All I can say is that my body hurts so bad, especially my head that feels like it's been broken open like a coconut.
"Oh my baby is awake!" I hear my father's voice resonate in my ears, applauds following his voice. I wonder how many people are in the room with me. "You made it through the cleansing child. Congratulations. Now we must go through with your main cleansing when you're ready."
