October 1915 A rising wind whipped sand across the tented encampment as Brigadier Smith handed over the packet in person. "Here are your orders, Selkirk," he waited until Selkirk broke the seal and scanned the contents. "Not what you were expecting, eh? I know you are training for raiding in the Sinai, but something has occurred that we need to rectify." "Yes, sir," Selkirk waited for more information.
