Chapter 9
Nate looks around the living room in frustration. He has been so sure, so certain that Simon was their man. He has been practically vibrating with nervous fear, the anticipation thrumming under his skin when they arrived at the house. It has not taken much for him to get Arvin to help him do a little bit of breaking and entering. Not that it would have made any difference if Arvin had refused. Nate was just about ready to smash down the front door to get inside.
And they have found nothing. There is no one in the house and there is nothing to indicate that Sean has been there before.
He and Arvin along with Osborn have searched the house from end to end, looking for hidden cellars or locked attics but not only did they not find those, there also didn’t seem to be anything remo
