The poker game was a lot of fun. To start with, Suzy and her friends didn't want to join in as they had no money, but between us we pitched in to give them a stake each.
Although Seb now wishes we hadn't, Suzy turned out to be a f*cking pro. Apparently, her grandpa was a professional poker player back in the day, and he taught her everything he knew.
She ended up walking away with over two hundred dollars. Most of the guys had said goodnight, leaving just me, Robyn, Gray and Seb. Robyn was talking about how much Suzy had come out of her shell, when a thought came to me.
