Luis He was sitting in his office while he listened to the teleconference that was happening at the moment. It was the biggest project to date for his company. The proposal was about the very first business center in Bacolod City. It would entail a lot of land purchase and construction. The company’s Architect and CEO were discussing the matter at hand with the Mayor. “Mayor, this is a great honor for us that you have approved our proposal. To build the biggest development in your city. Do not worry and we will not let you down. Your city is in good hands.” His company’s CEO named Tristan was the one who spoke. He was in another room with Neil their architect who was in charge of the project. They had built several conference rooms for this purpose so several meetings can go without conflict of slots. Luis kept listening, while he studied the budget for the project. It was ambitious and it needed a lot of funds for a long time to start it off. This was a special request from his dad to personally oversee the project while his dad facilitates the establishment of their new business. “Who will be the investor for this project? I hope you understand my concern. I do not want to hear that my rival last election would invest in this project.” The Mayor asked them with a concerned look. He was still young, might be in his late twenties and he was very aggressive. It looked like he wanted to climb the political ladder. That was what Luis observed about him. “I will personally finance this project Mayor. You do not need to worry about this.” Luis assured him. At the back of his head he was regretting he said this. Now, he needs to take another client from RnJ services to secure the project’s initial phase. “Thank you, Luis. I am looking forward to seeing you in person and start this project.” The mayor smiled as he said this. The Architect and the CEO both said their goodbyes as they have closed the deal. Luis and the Mayor bid goodbye and everything was set for the groundbreaking. Since the meeting went smoothly and did not take an hour. Luis picked up the documents and went out of his office. “Claire clear my schedule for the rest of the day. I have personal matters to attend to.” He informed his secretary who was sitting behind a desk. “Yes, sir Luis.” She replied. Besides, he had nothing else to do with the company as Tristan had been a great CEO who manages the daily operations. It was a big relief on his part as he got busy once he began to work as a husbando for RnJ services. He had a variety of clients yet they had one thing in common, needy and very demanding for attention. He asked his Dad for his plan to hire a CEO to run their company at his behest while he focused more on finding investors for the company. His dad agreed and thus Tristan was hired. His father did not know about his other work as a husbando. All he knew was his son had to socialize a lot to get prospective investors. # Unknown person A beautiful lady went out of the NAIA Terminal 1 airport. She wore ray ban sunglasses and a black dress. She picked the luggage that was in the trolley and pulled it. She had a Louis Vuitton handbag in her other hand. She looked classy and out of place for the old building she went out of. “Miss, are you looking for a taxi?” A taxi driver asked her. He had a very weird accent as he spoke which gave the lady a hard time understanding him. She gave him a quizzical look although, it wasn’t observable as the sunglasses were too dark. “excusez-moi monsieur” (excuse me sir) she said. The taxi driver was stunned when she said a foreign language. It was like the lady spoke in an alien language that the driver scratched his head and turned his back from her. “Jullian j'ai besoin d'une voiture s'il vous plait.” (Jullian favor, I need a car.) She was talking on her phone while she waited for the other person to reply. A few minutes more and they came to an agreement. After an hour of waiting, a grey ford Everest stopped in front of her. “Ms. Jeanne?” the driver asked. “Oui.” (Yes) she answered him and opened the passenger seat. The driver on the other hand went out and took her luggage to the compartment. When he got back to his seat, she immediately gave instructions. “Ascott hotel s’il vous plait monsieur.” (To Ascott Hotel please sir.) “Yes, madame.” The driver answered.
