I felt like I had a wild animal cornered on the basement stairs. I wasn’t sure if Robyn would flee or fight, but having seen her kick-ass skills at the dojo, I had a feeling she would fight fast, hard and dirty. I had to think of something to calm her down, and quickly. “Look, I’m really sorry I read your screen on the bed without your permission. I didn’t mean to be disrespectful, but I realize it was an invasion of your privacy.”
She looked at me with narrowed eyes and a hard look on her face.
