(Arianna POV)
We ran past the deserted corridor and made our way up a flight of stairs.
Stopping at a junction revealing 3 other ways, he suddenly released my hand. He closed his eyes and raised his hands.
My eyes widen as blue light danced at his fingertips. I screamed as a ball formed and dashed to the left and he took my hand and started to run in the direction the flying ball went.
Tears were flowing from my eyes and my vision blurred.
I just want to go home. I want all this to be a b****y nightmare and wake up with my baby next to me.
I shook my head.
No, I need to be strong. I need to find my son.
I kept chanting that in my head as I followed the stranger.
I trust him. I don’t know him but I still feel he is the one I could ever trust.
“He is in here” he said pausing and looking at me.
But I was busy looking at the wooden door filled with weird writings and designs.
I put my hand on the door and started pushing it but it didn’t budge. I tried again and this time I tried to knock it down with my leg.
“Open! Bullshit!” I shouted as I tried to run and attack it.
“Stop Arianna. It is enchanted. Your only hurting yourself” he said as he grabbed hold of me. I tried to free myself from his grip so that I could continue trying to break the door but he was too strong.
He quickly turned me around and hugged me and an unknown warm sensation filled my heart. My body calmed down and so did my mind. I slump against his body and started to cry as he rubbed my back.
“You are tired, my queen. I will do it” he said as he kissed my forehead before passing me to another guy.
He then like before raised his hand and blue light danced around his fingertip. He placed the palm forcibly on the door and shouted some unknown words. The door started to burn and melt before it completely disintegrated.
He looked back at me and smiled before walking in.
“Wait! Hey! let go of me! Let me go with him” I pleaded and struggled but this guy was strong.
“Your highness. Don’t worry. He will bring your son” he said but I ignored him and still struggled.
Minutes passed by like hours and finally the blue eye guy came out of the room.
He had a boy on his arm. The boy was bruised and unconscious.
“Noah!” I shouted as I kicked the guy and ran to him.
“Noah baby! Open your eyes! Please... It’s mommy” I said as I lightly shook him.
“Don’t. He is physically drained and weak. He needs time to heal” the mysterious guy said as I stared at him.
He was looking at my son with love and concern, as though he is the most precious thing in the world.
“Your majesty, the enemy has retreated. Waiting for your further orders.” A voice came from behind.
Another guy in weird medieval clothing walked in with a huge sword.
“Ah Yes. Good work, general. You can return to the castle. I have to take care of her.” He replied.
“But your highness. The order...” the general said as the blue eye guy smiled.
“I will deal with that later. Right now they are my priority” he said smiling down at me.
“Of course, Majesty. I'm glad I'm one of the first few to see the king’s bride” the general said bowing at me. I stood there wide-eyed as he exited the place.
I turned around and looked into the pair of hypnotizing blue eyes.
“King’s bride?” I asked as he smiled.
“Yes. My love.” He said as he stepped forward. I stepped back panicking.
“do not worry. I will never hurt you nor let anyone hurt you. You are my queen.” He said as he again to a step forward.
“Who are you?” I asked as his smile turned to a sad one.
“I knew you will ask that question. I thought I was prepared for it but I guess I'm not. I didn’t want you to forget me but I had no choice” he said sadly as he moved closer to me.
I cursed the wall as it prevented me from going further backward.
“My queen. I am yours. I am your Allister. Your love.... and the father of this beautiful being.” He said as he looked down at Noah with love.
He looked back at me and smiled.
“I will come to you very soon. But now you should rest and so should Noah. I don’t want to leave you alone but I have to. We will meet real soon, my queen.” He said as he put his hand on my forehead.
“I love you” he said as bright blue light shined between his hand and my forehead before it blinded me into darkness.
