Unbreakable Tiara

Chapter 1

"Anya, when you grow up, you will be the Queen of this nation..." her mother softly caressed her cheek and her eyes glistened with excitement. Before her was the beautiful town in the capital.

"Anya, Anya, wake up!" says one of her friends. She softly scrubbed her eyes. "Get up fast, there are soldiers burning Sister Elda's store!"

"W-wait!" she said when Zenya grabbed her arms and pulled her out.

"They are going to demolish the slums, we need to run fast or they will detain us and make us slaves!" she said, and they started running away.

"Those petty people!" she said and gritted her teeth. This is the scenery she had to grow up day to day. They are used to being purged, but after a few days staying in the forest, they will go back to the slums. It's not every day that they do this.

"Yes, if it weren't for that new captain of the knights, they wouldn't do this every day!" Zenya said, "But now they are very persistent.

They stopped when the roof started falling down in front of them. Zenya was quick to react. That is why she had suddenly turned to run to the right side when she stopped midway because the appearance of a man of their age appeared holding a sword.

"Escaping again, huh?" he asked and grinned, "Zenya, the greatest thief in the slums of the Capital." he grinned and Zenya immediately pulled out her dagger and pointed it to him.

"Who are you?!" she asked while hiding Anya behind her. Her chestnut colored hair flared up, and since the boy in front of her was smaller and alone, she could take him off.

"Haha, you don't need to know--" but he was stopped when Zenya had jumped in front of him and attacked him with her dagger.

"Ability: Pointed Dagger!" she said and that reflected in her guns, "Hah!" she said and jumped back.

"Wow... so the news that you had an ability is true." and clapped his hands, "And you used it to jump back and block my attack, marvelous!" and his eyes were very excited.

"What?!" Zenya took a step back because he attacked using his sword but his target was not her.

"But you are still no match for me!"

"Kyaaaah!" Anya screamed when Zenya was slashed in her stomach, as she blocked his next attack and blood splattered on her face.

"HAHAHAHA!" he laughed so evil and then footsteps on the knights coming are heard.

"Your Highness!" they said and kneeled in front of him.

"She is just a small fry yet you cannot capture her?" he said and walked away. "Capture her!"

"In your dreams!" Zenya announced and grinned at him. Then a smoke filled the gutter and it vanished.

"Hah! Interesting!" and his eyes turned sharp.

"Zenya, there's so much blood!" Anya said and is crying. Zenya is losing so much blood in the corner and touch her when Zenya pushed her. She was just a few years older than Anya, but she had been thinking that she is her little sister. And since they are orphans, they struggle just to live.

"Just leave me and run, Anya!" she said and vomited some blood. Anya had caressed her back while crying. Her pretty face is covered with tears.

"No, I will never leave you!" she said and tried her best to move Zenya. "Come, I'll help you, let's go now!" she said. But Zenya knew she won't be able to move much based on her injury.

"Just go, Anya!" she shouted in her face, "M- mother entrusted you to me! I cannot let you be a slave!" she said and crying. Anya was shocked and hug her elder sister.

"No, no!" she said, "I love sister Zenya! I will never leave you!" she said.

*Bogsh!* *Argh!*

"Oho! I know you are not that far!" he said and the buildings around them had collapsed, causing the people inside there get smashed. There are people whose is stained by blood everywhere.

"This is terrible." Anya had stopped to see one of her playmate gets crushed.

"Y-your target is me! What are you doing to the innocents?!" Zenya asked and pushed Anya who is traumatized by the outstanding explosion that causes harm to others.

"Thief, robbery, scam, and so much more had caused this place so dark rumors to the nobles," he says, "This is just right. Since I am the captain of the knights now, I will purge it myself!"

"You are the captain?" Zenya asked. Anya shivers because the rumors about him is known in their place. She looked up to him and his place had no remorse. Moreover, her sister is injured by him. He come to them but they cannot run anymore. Zenya is taller than him but since she is sitting, she needs to look up to him. When he suddenly kick her face causing her to vomit more blood and slumped on the floor.

"You, bastard!"

"Anya!" Zenya had stopped her but the anger inside her has flared up, causing her to attack him. Black energy suddenly enveloped her and he was pushed back because of the intensity. "How dare you kicked my sister!" she said and that energy has summoned a large monster with sword. It bears fangs. Zenya was shocked to see the ability she has summoned.

"Prince Marcus!" said the knights behind.

"Anya, stop!" Zenya grabbed her arms, "Let's just---" she was about to do the same trick by teleporting to escape but then a knight stopped her and put a knife in front of her neck.

"Zenya!" she got angrier. "Let us go! We did not do anything!" she said while crying and controlling the monster but she is shivering from fear.

"Aha..." he stopped forcing his laughter to stop, "AHAHAHAHAHA!" and laughed so hard. He then pointed his sword and attack her monster. They clashed swords, and the injury the monster gives her a hard time. She did not know the concept of mana yet, and wondering why her nose is bleeding. However, the crazy crown prince is unstoppable and his attacks are getting fiercer. His jet black hair releases a lightning and causing the barrier of the monster to crack down.

"Weakling," he said and pointed a sword in his neck. "Since the most notorious thief is my only target, I should cut you down now," he said and was about to s***h her neck.

"No!!!!!" Zenya screamed.

'Is this it? Am I going to die like this?' Anya thought to herself, 'But I don't want to die... I still want to explore this world...'

And in that brief moment, an explosion of black manifests the whole city and enveloped it. A large amount of black mana is getting out from Anya because of her fear of drying, and they are pushed back.

"AHHHHHHH!" she screamed unable to control the power surging from her.

"You're such a pain, Marcus," said a cold voice and then jump towards her and stopped her magic. His handsome and dashing appearance took away all the stares. Anya lose her consciousness and he had picked her up.

"At last, her majesty has been found." he says and Marcus's eyes was shocked. At the same time, Zenya also fell in the ground. Unconscious.
