After completing the goblin dungeon, players received only one pleasant result.

The two swordsmen carefully watched the number of monsters killed and after killing the eighty-second goblin, Dan received an increase in the effect of the skill. Tom killed eighty-seven monsters. The friends paused to assess the developmental prospects.
"A level twenty-one clone gives twenty-one percent of its achievements to its master. It turns out that I brought to the overall score a victory over eighteen goblins. Together we destroyed one hundred monsters. Everything fits our assumption. The magic of numbers continues to rely on some basics. You have to destroy a hundred monsters to get one percent in skill development," Tom sighed. Despite the cruel conclusions, there was a smile on the clone's face. He loved the clarity and sense of control.
Dan didn't share his friend and assistant's optimism.
"The calculations are fine with me. I don't like the prospect of such a slow development. What do you think about a change of location? If I raise the level to the maximum your activities will become more productive," the young man remarked.
"Tough question," the clone agreed. "There are clear advantages to your proposal. I'm sure the higher level bosses can give us some very useful trophies. Perhaps we can get a valuable drawing out of some boss. The question of saving gold is important to us. Our mage ring will make me a level forty-one clone. This will greatly accelerate the progress of the swordsman's skill development. There are also advantages in that you can get extra protection from the new level of armor. We are not risking anything. I don't think you can get seriously hurt by a level 39 monster. Against bosses, annihilation tactics with the Rage of Ars skill work great. In that sense, you and I make a great team take down enemies."
The clone fell silent and began to think about the disadvantages of a drastic leveling up for Dan. Raven understood that such an issue required reflection. This world made unexpected demands on the player. He wanted to regain his abilities as soon as possible. The phantom could not find an answer and ask for time. No one saw any great disadvantage in leveling up. But it alerted friends who were sure that there were difficulties and troubles.
After passing the dungeon, the swordsmen went to town to turn in their assignment to the adventurers' guild. They awaited with interest the reaction of the townsfolk to their performances as invincible duelists. But a more interesting surprise awaited them.
The friends turned in their assignment and Dan decided to return to the inn to continue his blacksmithing lessons. Tom gave his friend all his valuables and went to the library. He wanted to add to his collection of knowledge about the new place.
Dan entered the inn and didn't have time to do anything. He heard a familiar and pleasant female voice.
"My delicious! I'm so hungry hungry hungry. Did you miss me? Hurry up and come to me. I bought you your favorite wine," Koreima shouted to the entire hall and didn't worry about decency. The vampiress had always been dismissive of mice and order in their establishments.
"Koreima," smiled the young man. He experienced a strange feeling. He was pleased to see his girlfriend. The young man walked quickly to the table and saw that the girl looked well and was not hungry. "I'm glad to see you in good condition. No need to shout. Hello, my joy, have you sorted out the new orders in the town of Night Hill?"
"Treat me to blood, you rude rascal. Why did you kill my ancestor? Shame on you! Uncle Kornelius taught you all sorts of tricks but you repay our clan with such ingratitude," the vampiress made an insulting face and wagged her finger. "Sit down at the table and we'll talk about the news I brought."
Dan didn't object. He didn't care that he was confronted with the interests of the Kor clan. He wasn't looking for trouble and the vampires themselves decided to be curious. The young man quickly pulled out his vampiress' treat set and filled the glass with blood.
The girl wasn't acting like a hungry rabid vampire. She pretended not to be at all interested in the young man's actions. She took the blood glass in her hand and made the first sip. Her face showed intense emotion. The vampiress looked much more interesting and beautiful now. Dan smiled because he always liked to watch her at such moments. The girl's beautiful face became even more enchanting and attractive for a moment.
Koreima set her glass on the table and shook her head.
"Thank you. I've missed this. Let's talk about what's important. I ask you to return one ring to my ancestor. I brought another ring with the same stats. That object is important to my ancestor. It is a gift. Shall we exchange?" Koreima placed the artifact on the table.
Dan looked at the item and saw that it was an ordinary ring that increased the Speed attribute by twelve points. One vampire didn't want to participate in the duel and used the displacement to flee from the duel site. According to the magical rules of this world, all items of such a coward remained at the duel scene. The vampire kept his life and may have had reputational problems within the clan and vampire community. Refusing to duel did not seriously damage his reputation in the city.
"I left the trophies in my room. Of course, I am willing to exchange things. I do not understand why your ancestor chose to refuse to duel with me," said the young man.
"It wasn't necessary. No one expected you to be so bloodthirsty. You managed to surprise everyone. An insolent human being! You can't scare everyone with your Legacy! What you did was wrong. Now everyone knows about your talents," the vampiress was offended. "It is good that you are willing to help my ancestor. I have some important news to tell you. It has to do with an important matter of this world."
Koreima saw that the young man had taken the artifact from the table. She smiled and took another sip of blood. This young man's blood gave her special pleasure. The vampiress looked at her lover with red eyes and saw no sign of curiosity on his face. The brash young man imagines himself capable of finding all the mysteries and discovering all the secrets of this world. The impudent human had always attracted her attention.
"Don't you want to know a secret I'm willing to share?"
The young man laughed and took a sip of elf wine as well. He was in no hurry to learn other strangers' secrets. Dan knew very well that every secret was a responsibility. He had one huge responsibility in this world and he didn't want to deal with new problems. To regain the strength of his fighting skills! That was what was important. And it took at least a year! The young man and the clone agreed that this world, with its silly antagonism between vampires and elves, was not the best place for quiet skill development.
"I'm not interested in your secret. I have a huge problem. And so do you. We have all lost the power of our skills. Will your secret help us regain our qualities?" Raven watched with interest as the vampiress grew angry.
"Don't remind me of that! This is a nasty nasty place! I feel like a weak student who has just begun to learn the mysteries of my kind's magic. It's not fair and it's not pleasant," the vampiress grimaced and an unpleasant feeling of intense anger appeared in her eyes. "Why is there always some major annoyance? I once thought that there was no point in aspiring to another world. There they'll make you raise all your skills again or offer you new nasties."
Dan Raven froze. Such a simple and terrible thought had never occurred to him. And the vampiress was right! Why wonder about the new world? The new world would not be kind and friendly to newcomers.
"You say clever but unpleasant things," the swordsman said quietly. "Calm down. I hope your clan will help you to regain your strength."
Koreima nodded her head and told him that she had already visited a couple of dungeons. She was able to kill a few dozen monsters but it was not a pleasant business. It was hard and disgusting for her to feel weak! The vampiress suffered from everyone looking at her like she was a silly child. She didn't understand why everyone had to face such problems.
But she had a Kor clan assignment in front of her and the girl had an obligation to do the right thing.
"Has your nasty advisor figured out how to get to the new world yet? You didn't think we could get into it? What's the point of sticking around in this unpleasant place? This place isn't set upright. I don't see much use in a fight between vampires and elves. I have a secret, and I'm willing to share that important information with you," the vampiress finished her blood and set the glass on the table.
Dan listened to his girlfriend carefully. Now she was speaking important words and the young man knew it at once. This world has its version of the Tower of Destiny! And the vampires sent a messenger to him to find out this information. But why would the vampires want it? And why would he be so quick to rush to a new place?
"Tom is busy looking for any useful information right now. I don't understand why your relatives and important acquaintances want me to leave this place so badly."
"Everyone dislikes your connection with our princess. Ugh! Nasty girl," the vampiress shook her head. "She was tasked by her goddess to found a kingdom. You know about it. She told you all about it. The Great Council of Lords has decided that this kingdom will harm the order of this world. You are asked to leave the world and not help Elina," Koreima immediately admitted to the basic demands from the vampires.
"How interesting," the young man whispered. "I am curious to know what the elves wish to offer me? And the Gnomes must indicate their attitude on this matter. What do your bosses offer me?"
The vampiress threatened her fist in the young man's direction.
"Take my words seriously. Don't joke around and make the whole world your adversaries. You are now being offered a meeting and an agreement."
Dan Raven realized that suddenly he was being dragged into a serious business. And he began to hate the thought of betraying Princess Elina.
