Lunch came to an end. Frowny Nose wished the new townspeople good luck and left. Dan was surprised that the princess was not interested in the subject of founding a kingdom. The young man did not interfere in her affairs and wondered about the ways to achieve her goals. Raven thought about his problems.
At this moment a third member of the Black Flame group joined the pair of newcomers.
Tom walked into the establishment and immediately made his way to the table of the two young people. On the clone's face was the smile of a man who was completely happy with the way things were going.
"I don't know what you're so happy about," Dan grinned. "I'm sure you've learned all the news that has me worried."
"I learned a lot of news and didn't meet the ones that worried me. We got what we wanted! Dan, don't you understand? This place is the beginning of any adequate and proper game. Grossroads is the starting location for beginners. Such places should be left as quickly as possible."
Dan saw no advantage in the new location and the clone tried to bring his friend back in a good mood. Tom clarified his point.
"I'll tell you in order. You may have learned about the penalty on your skills and combat techniques. But what does that mean? It means that in the Community you can finally get real skills! They will never let you down later on. Any technique must be developed to perfection and it will forever be your faithful assistant. The local dueling rules are generally delightful!"
"There's nothing delightful about the behavior of all sorts of insolent men. I already have an alleged rival. I met one vampire who was disrespectful to Elina and it caused problems," Dan clarified.
"No trouble at all! Did you know that local duels follow the rules of normal monster-fighting? There's no magic move to a special dueling arena in this world! That is, in the case of a duel, you have every right to consider your opponent an ordinary monster. More precisely, it's not an ordinary monster, but a boss. But in this case, you can use your most important skill. You can fight with the help of your faithful and wonderful friend! A few phantom summonses and you and I will defeat any vampire!" Tom explained his point quickly and with a smile. "I want to clarify one delicate point with you. Don't you think it's unfair?"
Dan had not yet had time to grasp the depth of the phantom's suggestion. He only realized that in this world dueling takes place in the usual way.
"I don't understand what you asked about being fair," Dan muttered.
"Two against one brazen person is fair?" Tom clarified the point he was interested in.
"It's ugly and dishonest. Decent persons and warriors don't behave like that," snorted the princess.
"Decent persons and warriors do not engage in duels with other citizens. Any troublemaker is considered by me to be a rabid monster. A monster is to be destroyed," the clone said at once.
Such a viewpoint was understandable and pleasing to the young swordsman.
"I agree with you. I'm not comfortable with all sorts of brats prying into my gameplay and interfering with my business in peace. That Rudolph wanted to put a vampire mark on Elina! Such rabid monsters should be destroyed by our normal boss fighting rules. I love you, Tom. You've given me back my confidence that the world is an interesting and pleasant place," laughed Dan.
"Turn to Koreima with love. By the way, my young friends and naive representatives of the human race. Koreima and Algrin will not get their freedom very soon. I am sure that they cannot quickly overcome their prejudices. Even Koreima, who needs your blood, will not betray the order of the Night Hill. But she won't be allowed to visit you to eat. There's the usual competition everywhere. No one wants a strong young rival who is full of ambition."
The princess did not believe the clone. She knew that Algrin would surely come to help her in all her endeavors. Dan shook his head. He didn't like the thought of the vampiress running into trouble.
"I hope you can surprise the delightful me. Did you find out about the possibility of taking a mission and getting your possession?" Tom reached for his goblet and tasted the local brew. He sipped happily and listened to the unpleasant news.
"There are no variations on Zangar Castle. It's hard to find a safe place in this world," Dan admitted.
"A bank is a completely safe place for our valuables. Any hotel is a completely safe place for any city dweller," the clone gave away his point. "There appears to be a question of solidity and personal vanity. It is not decent to hide in an inn and visit only the adventurers' guild and the bank. But you can't become a dueling fan either. We are in the wrong city. The vampires and elves have found the perfect place to fight a constant war. It seems to me they've set it up that way on purpose. Now they have the opportunity to fight often and have fun and have great opportunities to develop their skills."
Phantom wasn't embarrassed by the princess and did the old trick. He wanted all the information he could get from Dan. The clone put the sword on the table. He gave the armor to his friend before he went to scout.
"Renew me. I want to know what you know," the clone asked.
Dan didn't immediately apply the skill in a public place.
"It would look suspicious. There are too many witnesses here," the young man said.
"Dan, start living with the full confidence that you need to live like a real warrior. There are many duels and enemies ahead. We must develop to perfection the most important skills of combat. Your Legacy will not remain a secret for long. Already half the citizens of Night Hill and Deep Forest know about it. Don't be embarrassed by trivia," Tom laughed.
Dan cast a phantom spell. A new clone appeared next to the young man. Tom looked at the princess with interest. He made his way to his chair and picked up his sword.
"Elina, your upbringing and education inspire true reverence for simple warriors like us. But your methods do not make you an important ally. Establishing a kingdom is a very great thing. But our patron does not agree with that," the phantom declared.
"What does that mean?" Elina looked at the advisor with distaste.
"It means that the world is arranged by the gods. It is arranged simply. A craftsman must make beautiful things and rare artifacts. A merchant must trade these items. A ruler must rule. A warrior must make war. Ars doesn't want us involved in your politics and the questions of founding your kingdom," the clone expressed his simple worldview.
Dan realized the clone was right. Indeed! Ars the Battle Obsessed is the central character who manages the quests for player development with the warrior class. If Ars has not expressed his consent then Dan has the right to take his time in supporting the princess' interest. And what can he do to help? Serve as a bodyguard? He is a warrior and must fight monsters. In any dungeon, Dan agrees to fight beside the princess and be her protector. But in the city, he doesn't want to deal with intrigue and all sorts of administration. He doesn't like all this administrative stuff.
Elina was sitting there thinking that the clone was right. He is honest and behaves with dignity. Baron Raven didn't get his god's consent to participate in her mission. That means the mission is all about her. A very difficult but interesting mission. She will have to prove that she did not study in vain and her status has the right to establish a kingdom.
Tom decided that everyone should do the nice and familiar thing.
"I suggest we take it slow. Let's not ruin each other's relationships. Let's visit the banks and put our valuables in a safe place for safekeeping. Then I insist on a visit to the Adventurers' Guild. Elina, you are a good swordsman and we all need to clarify what changes we have received in this world. You want to test your skills, don't you? Let's go out and face the plain and simple monsters!" Tom finished his glass and stood up.
The young man and the girl smiled. This counselor knew how to offer the most favorable behavior in time to maintain harmony and comfort in the group.

First, Dan paid for his stay in the establishment. He was now assured that death and a long absence would not result in the loss of things in the room trunk. Then the company walked not far from the inn and found a bank. In this place, no one met any obstacles and Dan was able to leave his supplies for safekeeping.
It did not take long for the friends to walk to the Guild of Adventurers. In the building, they met new changes in atmosphere and setting. There were many tables and chairs on the first floor of the guild. There was a bar in a corner and many warriors were buying different drinks to pass the time with pleasure.
The young people paid a modest fee and confirmed their participation in the Adventurers Guild. It was a pleasant surprise for Dan to learn that he could get a new teacher if he became worthy of such attention. Elina bragged that she was eligible to be a member of every guild in town. Tom smiled and realized that this girl knew how to demonstrate her usefulness.
Dan chose the easiest quest for level nineteen. This quest had an additional reward from the Blacksmiths Guild and everyone was counting on trophies in the form of useful resources for the blacksmithing craft.
