A clue

Kevin and Zara had a twitched look obvious on their faces. After a couple of astroseconds, looking at each other's faces, both started running behind Aiden who was crossing through the corridors in a rush to God knows where.  After a few astrominutes, in Dr. Arnar's Old Space Lab, Arnar was poking his sharp pen-like tool into something, watching closely with his sharp cat eyes through his scope glasses. Being a good observer he was an expert at analyzing things quicker. Aiden came hastening as he shoved the door quickly to get inside.  DUUUUUUUUUUH!!! Arnar lifted his head in the direction of the door's screeching sound. "Oh Aid, you came already? That was so damn fast!", Arnar peeked at his astrowatch with a tilted head and was astonished to see the astrotime. It was just a couple of astroseconds after his phone call with Aiden and he is already here. Arnar checked out the other two familiar heads behind Aiden, a smile leaped on his face quickly. “Mm-hmm...I didn't know we had more companies. Come sit, kids!", Welcoming them inside, Arnar motioned them to sit. "Hey, Ar, you're still fit ha!", making fun of Arnar, Kevin pulled the chair near him and took a seat. "You little trouble!!", he said, playfully smacking Kevin's back. "Uh!" Kevin mocked him. "Hello, Dr.Ar! Pleasure meeting you!" Zara smiled and gave him a swift hug. "Same here, how are you doll?", he asked with a wide smile plastered on his face. Every single bit of Aiden's patience melted away as astroseconds passed. "Okay, that's enough. Ar, you can ask how many questions you want to these both after stuffing me with all the details you got", the silent room resounded with Aiden's impatient words. Kevin and Zara were eyeing each other as they were mystified by Aiden's strange behavior. "Go relax there on the couch, Zara", Aiden said gesturing his hand towards the couch. Zara agreed and took the couch which was at the corner of the lab. Without waiting for an astrosecond,  Aiden moved forward,  THUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD !!! seizing the table with his hands. He leaned before Arnar, "Come on Ar, I'm losing my patience, just tell me what you have got", Aiden said, looking at him without blinking his eyes, eagerly. "Aid, wear this first and have some patience. This will take some time so don't be irritated!", Arnar passed on a pair of gloves and scope glasses to Aiden. Once he wore them, he fixed his eyes on Arnar for further clarification. "Take a peek at this!", Arnar pushed the laboratory metal dish which had a metal lid, to Aiden's side of the table. Aiden dragged it closer to him and lifted the lid to see what's 'neath it. Taking a peek inside, Aiden was left speechless. "...", he was astounded to see the same corrosion impact which he saw a few astrominutes before, in the Ora Speedy 127. A completely surprising effect took over his body as mentally he didn't know what this was this supposed to mean. "What do you imply, Ar?", Aiden asked him as he dropped the dish on the table and gazed straight at him for results. "Aid, this is not normal. A certain set of metals rot another certain set of metals in a span of time. That's what this implies. But that's not all...", Arnar's explanation was broken by Zara's suspicious question. "What metal? I don't get it...", Aiden turned to her and gestured his hand, asking her to wait. She nodded her head and Arnar recommenced with his explanation, "This is the metal sample you gave me earlier is not in the Space Elements Table, so it means...mm...", Arnar paused with a split astrosecond and took a deep breath to pacify himself. The room was so quiet that everyone could listen to each other's breath. Aiden, Kevin, and Zara were quietly waiting for him to continue his statement. Arnar heaved a deep sigh and proceeded, "This is an alien object or a mysterious object for now. Might be dangerous too!".  Again mere silence filled the room, Aiden inclined back on his chair stretching his head back, he closed his eyes. It took a couple of astroseconds for him to be normal. Arnar's words froze Kevin and Zara in their place. Both were sitting like a statue as they didn't see this coming. "Aid? Are you okay? kids!?", Arnar checked upon them who didn't reply to him for like astrominutes, which felt like astroyears. "SO I WAS RIGHT!!!", Aiden's loud voice filled the air of the room. Zara and Kevin looked at him like an unsolved puzzle which they're trying to figure out. "Aid, care to explain?", All the three men's attention was focused on her as her loud voice echoed through the walls of the room. "Okay, so here we go...", Aiden started to explain everything to them that happened while he was at the Khafa mission. He elaborated on every single thing he noticed strangely. He gave them tons and tons of explanations about the weapon that leaked the fuel tank, the new planet-like structure in the odd location of the orbiter of the Red Lava Galaxy. Kevin and Zara were looking at Aiden as though they were listening to fascinating bedtime stories. Aiden went into detail about Lucy's reports and research on them.  After lots of explanations, Aiden heaved a deep sigh and concluded, "So that explains everything". With wide eyes, Zara observed the unidentified metal sample on the table. " Odd!", she said, scratching her chin. "So this corrosive metal is the reason for Ora Speedy's miserable condition?", Kevin questioned as he looked at Arnar for an answer. Arnar blinked was a few astroseonds and asked, "What condition?". "Oh I didn't tell you about that. Do you remember I said the weapon was removed from the fuel tank in West Wing?", Arnar asked, looking at Arnar who was listening sharply. He nodded his head in positive. "Yeah so now, that particular part was a damn mess as if it was burned with some deadly acid", Aiden filled him with all the details about the spaceship's current condition. For a couple of asroseconds, Arnar was in deep thoughts. later, his expressions started to change into serious ones. "AID!! THIS WILL HAVE SERIOUS IMPACT IF NOT STOPPED!", he sounded in a concerned tone. "Ar, why do you say so? Any problem?", Zara's confusion started to bounce as questions in front of Arnar. "If we let the metal stay on the spaceship for a few more astrodays, Ora Speedy will rot into nothing, not even ashes", Arnar explained the dangerous impact of the metal. "WHAT!!!!", Aiden shouted as he became furious.  "We have to add substitute metal to stop the corrosion for which I need some rare metals like Titanium, Zirconium, and many more", Arnar started to list out the stuff that is required to stop the disaster. Zara looked at him with wonder, "Aren't they banned for public use? Like we need permission to even get 100 astrogram of each substance itself". "We even need President Aldric's permission for this one!", Arnar informed Aiden who was lost in his own clouds of thoughts. In a few astroseconds, he got up, pushing his chair back. Confidence was so evident in Aiden's face who took a deep breath and said, 'I'll arrange your requirements, Ar. President won't know about any of this until I say so, am I clear?", Aiden's bold voice were all over the room, while the sound of the door opening made him turn in that direction." What are you guys hiding from me...
