Leo hadn't been joking about taking me to the cheapest, smallest and worst diner. As far as first impressions went, that is. The walls consisted of half tile and half chipping paint, the floors looked like they had seen a lot of trouble in their days. The tables were small and marked. But the customer service and food were out of this world. We were already on to dessert. We had opted for their dinner special to start with which had been a delicious piece of pork with a side of steamed mixed veg in garlic, roast potatoes and delicious creamy spinach. For dessert I had ordered a rich chocolate ice cream drizzled in caramel sauce. Leo had opted for a slice of chocolate cake, of which I had already stolen several bites from.
