Jax pulled up outside my apartment building in Jonah's car and as I got in the first thing I noticed was how he was dressed.
He wore black jeans with a dress shirt.
"Okay, so what's the occasion?"
"I'll tell you at dinner. Which I'm paying for," he winked in my direction before we drove off.
"Okay, now I'm dying of the curiosity."
"Well, you'll just have to last until we get to dinner. I am not telling you a damn thing unless it's over dinner and wine."
I held up my hands in mock surrender, a smile on my face, "Okay, I guess I will just have to wait and see what it is then."
He laughed, "Yeah, you do. How did your shopping go today?"
I shrugged, "It was okay. I don't really like shopping though."
"You don't? Why not?"
"It's boring and a waste of money."
