Grace Roberts' PoV:
"No way!" I raised my hands in submission. "He's a manipulative bastard, and there's no way I am asking him to be my date after what he did today!" My gaze was fixated at Remi who was nowhere near convinced with my protest.
I can at least try though.
"Oh, that's why you kissed him today?"
Never mind, I can't try.
"He won't go." I shrugged and saw the waiter approaching us. "Why?" She asked, making a weird face.
"Cause it's unlike him. I don't find him the socialising type, and think it has a lot to do with the fiancèe of his." I said just before the waiter came to a halt beside us.
"Can I get you something else?" I nodded my head, denying then paid the bill before following Remi outsi
