Before today, I had no idea about any rival strong enough to through me off an almost done deal. It wasn't just a blow but an eye-opening experience for me.
Maybe, I should have been more aware. This not only meant the loss of a great opportunity but also the loss of many other opportunities we had already claimed.
"Cupid? Cupid? Are you there?" Lost in my own miserable thoughts, I hadn't realized that Finn was calling me.
