Treachery

The sleep with her was splendid. The night had been pleasant. Alanna felt very happy.

With her eyes still closed, she slept peacefully until a sharp jolt came over her face.

—Alanna! You shameless b***h! You have slept with another man,— he slapped Alanna.

Alanna eyes were wide open and her cheek was sore. She looked up to see her fiancé staring at her in a daze.

—What's the matter? What are you talking about? I've been with you all night, haven't I?—

—Together? Us?— Lucas pointed out with a furious expression

But what was he doing?

—You don't even know who you slept with last night? I wasn't with you, b***h. If I hadn't gotten that text message telling me you'd be here, I wouldn't know you were betraying me! Our wedding is off! I don't want anything to do with you, you disgust me,— Lucas insinuated disdainfully.

It was the first time Lucas had spoken to her that way. He seemed like someone else. His gaze filled with hatred and his sounded really hoarse and loud.

At those words, Alanna was devastated. She didn't understand. She had just grabbed a sheet to wrap around her body, but there were marks on her neck, evidence of a busy night.

If she wasn't with her fiancé that night, who was this man?

She had gotten drunk the night before and her best friend, Camille, had helped her find that hotel room. Alanna remembered perfectly how Camille had told her that Lucas was waiting for her in that hotel room that night.

That's what friends are supposed to be for, to look out for each other, right?

But as soon as Alanna opened the door, everything went dark and a figure approached her. Alanna didn't remember anything else.

But the man in the room was supposed to be Lucas, her fiancé.

She and Lucas had been dating for more than five years, and their engagement was only a year old. Although they hadn't celebrated the wedding, they were already living as husband and wife.

Unfortunately, Alanna had met Lucas just after he had been in an accident and his s****l desires diminished as well as his s****l capacity.

But Camille had said he would surprise Alanna. She always thought the surprise had something to do with it, his cure for s****l dysfunction. She was happy, at last her fiancé would make love to her!

—I... no— said Alanna weakly.

She had cheated on her without knowing it, and Lucas simply couldn't take it, he had no choice but to break off the engagement.

Alanna was heartbroken, guilty and remorseful. But, there was no going back, things had happened and she didn't know how to explain it without sinking even deeper.

Lucas had brought a break-up agreement and hurriedly handed it to Alanna.

—I don't want anything more to do with you. Sign that,— he said with intensity.

Alanna thought she could fix things, but Lucas had brought that break-up agreement. If she signed it, she'd leave with nothing.

—I don't... I don't agree with this. The KG Organization is everything to my family. I have already given you more than 25% of the shares my mother left me! I can't give you everything!— Alanna said calmly.

Hearing that, Lucas rushed to grab Alanna's shoulders with his hands and squeezed her in front of him.

—You're a f*****g w***e! You cheated on me! This is all your fault, so now it's all mine. Ever since your mother took her life you haven't cared about the KG Organisation. I've been in charge of that organisation. How dare you be so miserable!— He cursed.

—I... I was tricked by Camille! I expected to see you in this room. I didn't even know it wasn't you! Besides, I can't meet that condition. I'll be left with nothing! You already have 75% of the shares. That's Ms. 100 million dollars. Isn't that enough for you?— Alanna said angrily.

Lucas heard her words and scoffed viciously. He picked up his phone and showed Alanna the photos.

—You have two choices, either you walk away with nothing, or I'll make your reputation go to s**t! I'm capable of ruining you completely,— he said with a cold, terrified expression.

Although Lucas didn't say what he planned to do to ruin her, she knew he was capable of it.

For half of their relationship, Alanna had been a secretary in the same building, so their circle of friends was no different. Lucas had remained an employee of the KG Organisation until one day he became president.

The business world was difficult to understand, like a field full of bombs. He had been struggling with that world for a year, and in the end had managed to stabilise the organisation, which showed his business acumen.

He was good at everything, and dealing with Alanna would be like squashing a spider for him. Even if he gave her the shares, he would bankrupt her and bankrupt the organisation, just to get back at her.

Besides, he had those images, which he could use against her. It was obvious that it was better to leave with nothing and then come up with a plan to recover.

Alanna clenched her fists until her nails dug into her palms. She felt that little stinging pain as she frowned.

—It's okay,— she said, gritting her teeth in fury.

It was obvious Lucas didn't love her one bit. Camille had cheated on her and her fiancé hadn't even listened to her, he'd just left her with nothing and broken up with her.

After speaking, Alanna let out a sigh and signed her name to the break-up agreement. Sooner or later she'll get it all back.

—Give me the phone. I will erase all those images of me right now— said Alanna as she looked at Lucas coldly.

—Give me the deal first and then do what you want— he said with a triumphant light in his eyes.

Alanna nodded and handed him the agreement. When Lucas handed her the phone, she quickly erased all the images that spoke of her. Then, finally, she threw the phone on the floor and stomped on it until it broke completely.

At that moment, the clock struck 12 noon. The two had broken off their relationship and all the assets had been handed over to Lucas.

Alanna now had nothing.

—I expect you to get your rubbish out of my house today. If you don't, I'll have them burned tomorrow— said Lucas before leaving the hotel and going down to the car park.

Alanna followed Lucas into the car park and when he opened the car door, there was Camille, sitting in the passenger seat as Lucas climbed behind the wheel and kissed her charmingly.

That seemed like an atrocious scene. Never in her wildest dreams did Alanna imagine such a thing.

Alanna was stunned to see such a scene. At that moment she was out of control and she walked angrily to the car and opened the car door.

—You...I should have imagined it before... You tricked me!— said Alanna, pointing at Camille with trembling fingers.

—What are you doing here? What do you want from Lucas and me? You're nothing, he's with me now. You can go— said Camille taking Lucas by the hand and blinking innocently at Alanna.

—Honey, ignore that b***h. We have to go or we'll be late for our party to celebrate our love— said Lucas to Camille.

—Today is our first day as an official couple. I hope she remembers it forever— said Camille smiling mischievously.

The two completely ignored Alanna standing next to them. After speaking, Camille looked at Alanna angrily.

—Alanna, what's wrong? Aren't you going to congratulate him? Even if you're his ex-girlfriend, Lucas won't care, we're still best friends, right? — said Camille with displeasure.

—Friends? f**k you Camille, f**k you both! — said Alanna angrily, she felt like raising her hands and punching Camille hard in the face.

How dare she say that? A woman wouldn't do that, she would never mess with her friend's fiancé.
