Alanna got up again after a few moments of thought on the bed. Then she turned her gaze to the bedside table and saw a small box on the base.
Seeing that, Alanna was intrigued, indeed she had to see what was in there. So moving a little closer, Alanna opened the box and found a necklace and a pair of gold earrings.
Before Alanna could sign with excitement, she saw a small note next to the box,
"This is a little gift for you. I hope to see the lights when I get home"
That little message made Alanna feel very embarrassed. How had she gotten there? Did Nick really come home last night?
