Nick found the women really incomprehensible. He was a little irritated because he didn't understand Alanna's attitude.
He made an angry gesture and slammed his hand down on the coffee cup on the desk. Suddenly the cup fell to the floor and made a sound that rattled the walls.
Alanna gasped in surprise and looked back, seeing the broken mug on the floor. She just looked forward and continued walking.
Seeing her indifference, Nick felt even more uncomfortable and angry.
Alanna, on the other hand, walked to the bathroom. She knew Nick wasn't following her so she walked into the bathroom and stood in front of the sink. She saw her face and felt helpless.
However when she came out of the bathroom, Gordon walked past her.
—Miss Summer, I see you again— Gordon hinted in surprise.
