I wasn’t sure how long I could play middleman between Dev, Win and Heaven. Not even an hour ago she was here asking for him. AGAIN. I’m not sure if she and Win crossed paths but Dev was minutes away and I hoped for his sake that Heaven wasn’t anywhere near the pack house. I knew she hadn’t left the pack yet, but as to her exact location, I had no idea.
We had bigger problems to deal with than his stalker ex and his second-chance runner. Dev had confirmed that what we heard on the surveillance tapes was true, and even worse than we anticipated. Things were going to get very complicated. The Rogue situation was expanding beyond our realm and bleeding out into the human world. They were putting our hidden world and human lives at risk.
