WINONA POV Today’s news at breakfast was the only thing that managed to get my mind off the kiss Dev and I shared yesterday. Only for a minute though. As soon as I walked back to my seat and felt his gaze on me, I felt the heat pooling in my stomach again. I tried to hide it, but I could see everyone was noticing a change in me. A change in the way Dev and I interacted, or tried to hide our interactions. It’s not that I wanted to hide the fact that we were mates, but I wanted to take things slow. In our world, the second you announce you have found your mate, it’s off to the races. Most mates mark one another almost instantly. I don’t want anyone to get the impression that I don’t want that just because I want to take my time. I never had any doubt that Dev would make an amazing mate. A
