After Dev left me standing in front of the packhouse, my mind was blown. Lucy kept pushing me to speak, to call him back. I thought I was ready to talk to him but seeing him with… her. It brought a whole new level of doubt into my head. Especially since he didn’t confirm or deny if she meant something to him.
I was in my room, thinking in circles when Mel showed up. We ate dinner together and chatted. She sensed I had something on my mind but gave up trying to find out after the third time she asked.
