Chapter Four Damien had to struggle against being dazzled. “Take me to your favorite place to eat.” Had she said “restaurant” he’d have struggled to think of somewhere nice, but “to eat” had only one answer. “It isn’t upscale or Californian or—” “That’s fine.” So, he’d taken her at her word.
