Chapter 8Clancy had to admit he was pleased with the house he’d found, so much so he’d decided to buy instead of rent. It was in a nice section of town not more than a mile or so from the university campus, a small Cape Cod, with a couple of bedrooms on the first floor and two dormer rooms on the second that could be turned into bedrooms—that was why there already was a three-quarter bath up there—but at present the space wasn’t used for anything, not even attic storage. Fortunately, except for the dormer rooms, the house had come fully furnished, down to linens for the bedrooms and first floor bath, and silverware, dishes, and pots in the kitchen.
