Chapter 21 Noah grunted. I shook my head. Ivan banged around in the kitchen so he wasn’t far. Noah grunted again but I couldn’t tell what he was trying to say. He edged his feet closer to me and tried to slide his torso towards me. Now inches away, he rolled on his side. When I felt Noah’s hands on my ties, I realized what he wanted. Sweat stung my eyes as I tried to undo his. Footsteps stopped us both. “I see Noah’s awake,” Ivan said. He peered at us. “And, I didn’t say you could scoot together.” Ivan laughed. I saw a blur.
