"I never knew he was your mate. Why didn't anyone clue me in?" I asked, recalling the incident when the two never mentioned each other as mates, even when they were first introduced to me.
"You've been hanging around him, getting him to drive you to the woods and all, and you didn't know he was my mate?" she said, sounding skeptical as she scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"Why not ask him why he never mentioned you to me all those days? I asked him if he had a mate, and he told me he didn't have any," I grunted, feeling angry at that lying alpha.
"Not to mention, even you didn't bring him up in any of our conversations. Heck! you didn't even introduce yourself as his mate to me," I was tired of them just imagining I would know all these details by myself.
