After he left, I cleaned the living room and took care of the toys, all the while thinking about the weird encounter with Kage. I found the flickering of his eyes weird; it wasn't like the wolf flashed, it seemed as if it took over. I shook my head to stop thinking about it, and just as I was about to lock the doors and leave for upstairs, I found Kage's jacket lying around. He must have taken it off when playing with the kids and forgot it here.
I grabbed his jacket and rolled it around my arm to place it somewhere for him to retrieve when he comes back in the morning when a slip slid out of the pocket and landed on the ground.
