“What do you mean the royals are coming here?” I screeched causing the two men to wince at the high pitch.
“They’re coming, the king wants to meet the woman who managed to challenge and win against the alpha of blood moon pack.”
“When?”
“A matter of days. The king has a few things to sort out in the kingdom and then he’ll be on his way to meet the first female alpha. You.” He clarified with a nod in my direction.
“Yeah. I got that.”
I stood in silence, thinking to myself for I don’t know how long, before the fire alarm began to sound. I looked down at the blackened pan that had darkened eggs stuck to the bottom, before discarding it in the nearby pedal bin.
