I heard Alora shout-out my name in panic, but I'm too tired to answer her.
Am I dead?
But I felt no pain from the explosion...
"KIERA, WHERE ARE YOU?!!!"

What does she means about where am I?
I am here, laying on the ground!!
"KIIIEEeee...rrr.....aaaaa....." Her voice sounded farther and getting farther until I can't hear her anymore.

Slowly, I open my eyes to see that I am lay on the soft grass surround by a huge tree.

Is this heaven?

"ALORRAAAA..!!!" I shout-out only to get no response from my friend and flinch in pain when I feel my feet throb badly, s**t, I think I sprained my legs.
But, more importantly, Where is this place?
Where are the cars?
People?
Building?
When I look around I can't see it and only the sound of birds and other animals was the only thing I could hear which make my heart pounding harder in fear for whatever happens to me and why am I here. This is a forest, but why am I here?
I remember walking around the city and there's no forest around.
"ALOORRAAAAA...!!!!!" I scream again, trying my luck to get any response or anything.
No... Nothing...
Oh my God, what happens?
BUMP...!!!
What is that?!
Something land in front of me from the tree and I gasped loudly when I see a huge leech crawling toward me.
"AAHHH??!!!" OHM MY GOD, that's a freaking huge leech there!!!
BUMP..!!! BUMP..!!! BUMP..!!!!
More leeches!!! My eyes bulge bigger when I realize there are so many leeches around me with their scary round mouth surround by horrible teeth pointed on me even when I see they're no eyes on them, they still could hear or smell me.
"GO AWAY!!" I shout in fear before start dragged my throbbing feet and try to run from the scary animal.
"AALLOOORRAAAAA!!! MOOOMMM!!! NNIIIICCCKKKK!!" I keep screaming when I start running, no, more like limping and didn't see a branch then fall which make my feet hurting more at the same time the leeches getting closer.
Oh, God..!!
"HELLPPPP!!!! HEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!" I scream in agony when one of the leeches standing in front of me with his huge round mouth with scary teeth moving to where I sat stupidly on the ground.

I closed my eyes and jumped in surprise when feel something fall on my head before slowly I open my eyes to see it's the leech head that had been cut off.
"AAAHHHH!!!" I crawl back, away from the things when I realize there's someone there slashing the leech with his sword.

BUMMP..!!!
"AAHHH..!!!" I shout in pain when one of the leeches grabs my hurting feet and sees blood coming out from where he bit me.
Damn, it hurts!

I didn't see the person coming then cut its head easily before I feel he grab me then carry me on his shoulder and flying from tree to tree easily like I'm weightless until the last thing I saw is a sun, wait... two sun in the sky.
I think I'm really going crazy, was my last thought before losing consciousness.
What is this place?
Where am I?
Is this real?

It was dark already when I open my eyes and decide to get sleep more, I sighed loudly and snuggle deeper into the hard pillow under me.
Why my pillow is this hard? I grumble and try to hit it to make it more comfortable.
"Kenapa memukul rumput? (Why you hit the grass?)"

"It's still dark Nick, let me sleep" I mumble lazily before the turn to the other side until I felt something hit my feet "Ouch!!" I comment and open my eyes abruptly to realize that I'm not in my bed.

Before I could think more, I notice a pair of black eyes staring strangely at me.
Gasped, I quickly try to move back only to feel the pain on my feet for the second time "s**t!!" I curse and decide to crawl away from the stranger "Who.. who are you?! Where am I? Why I am here?" I stutter in fear when seeing no response coming from him.
The man who wore a dark cloak didn't say anything while keeping his gaze lock on me.
Oh God, is he going to rape me?
Or.. or murder me?
"P.. Please, let me go" I spoke again, try to find any way to get out of the situation.
Silence...
No response coming from him, he keeps staring at me with his scary dark eyes which make me squirm in my place.
What is he going to do to me?
"Aku tidak paham apa yang kau bicarakan (I don't understand what are you talking about)" I heard he speak with a sigh, but I don't understand what is he talking about.
Is the foreigner?
Am I in another country?
"Can you speak English?" I tried and notice how he looks bore before pushing a plate of food to me.
"Makan (Eat)"
I guess he didn't understand me...
I look down to the plate to see a grilled fist with something that I never saw before.
Is this what he called food?
"Don't you have McDonald or something?" I asked and hear no response coming from him before I watch him stood up from where he sat and leaving "Hey, where are you going?"
He keeps walking and leave me alone in the forest in front of the fire.
I never see this place?
Do we have a forest in this country?
Oh God, what is happening with me?
Why I am here?!

She's just a mere human.
Why does Naina say she could cure me?
What's the difference if I just drain and killed her as I do to other people? What's so special to her?

I try hard to hold my beast harder since I meet the girl who was awoken and demands her blood.
Does he never act this aggressive?
She has amazing smells of blood on her, drain her!!

I don't know why I saved her from the leech, I could just leave her death there but seeing her fear expression, I can't just stand there and do nothing.
She looks like she's come from another world.
Then she gets hurts, I know I have to take her away from the dangerous forest since no human could live alone there for more than a day.
So you save her?
You saved her and pretend to be a hero while you're the real beast here. I heard him mocked me.

Stop pretending and just drink her blood, I know you want it.

What will you do with her? take care of her like a kitten?

I quickly punch my own head to shut the monster inside me and feel the blood coming out from my nose, this is what I used to do, hurting myself to tame the beast inside me, it was the only way I know.
Grunt in pain, I kneel on my knees before I feel myself get healed in a minute before I walk back to where I leave the human alone with her food.
It's been a while since I cooked for someone and I am relieved to know that I remember how.

But, I can't kill her, I know she's innocent and I won't kill innocent human again.

She's in tears when I arrived back, she looks in pain and I never saw a hair like her before, what color is that? white?
No one ever looked like her...
And her eyes...
It was green and I never saw something so innocent and also beautiful staring at me with no disgust coming from it.
"Why you crying?" I asked and saw her gasped loudly in shock before look upon me with fear forming on her face "Calm down, I won't hurt you" I assure her but see confusion coming from her face more.
I sighed in tiredness, this language thing could be a huge issue.
I watch how she move back when I take another step closer and decide to a just seat across from her.
"Uhm.. Thanks for the food" I raised an eyebrow when hear her speak and don't know how to respond because I don't know what she said, so I just look down again and ignore her.
I spend my time go around the world and this is the first I hear a different language, where is she coming from?
Why she's there that time?
Too lost with my mind, I look up to the human when hear her sniffling to see her in pain. I guess it's because of the feet.
I make a move to go closer to her and saw it alert her which makes her tensed so I raise my hand in a surrendered way to show her that I mean no harm.
Her feet are swollen more and I know she needs the healer or it could get worse.
Sighed in annoyed for thinking I have to go to the closed city for her but see how her gaze lock on me in hope, I know it must be done.
It's been a while since I let people see my face and interact with a human, I hate how their blood calling me like an invitation so I have to forced myself to hold the beast but I guess I can't walk out from it, can I?
"Sleep, we'll go to the healer in the morning," I told her and get a confused expression coming from her before I push her shoulder and make a sleeping gesture.
She looks at me in wonder and suspiciously for a second, so I just walk away to where I lay on the other side and leave her on her own.
What I involved with?
This is really a bad idea...
