Wrongfully Accused

1106 Words
Leaving Brandon tucked in bed asleep George had cleaned the mess and headed out of the room extremely pissed off. He was a hundred percent sure Brandon had been abused and according to his knowledge on the man he had never been in a relationship before, he did not even have friends. If the was anyone with the ability to abuse him it had to be his family. He had to make them pay, the had turned his beautiful husband into the little scared thing he was now. He was appalled when he recalled how easily they had agreed to giving Brandon way, even though he was the one that raised the condition of marrying Brandon in exchange for alone that could save their business his step father did not even raise protest.  A normal parent could have asked for time to think things through, time to consult the man to be married but no! The despicable man had almost lunged for the contract, he could not wait to get rid of Brandon. If only George could go back and wipe that stupid grin off his face, eyes twinkling as he saw the number of figures written on the cheque. George then came to the realization that Brandon's father could have handed him out to anyone in exchange of money and he had just been lucky to the first one. The whole realization that made his anger increase. What kind of dysfunctional family did his baby grow in? What had the done to him all these years. George came up with every possible worst case scenario. But the demons haunting his Brandon were not from his step father, in fact since he became Tony Brandon had not thought much about his supposed family in this lifetime. He was suddenly seven years younger, in school, had been dead for six years  and was now married. It was a miracle he had not ended up in a mental hospital. all that was too much for just one man. Getting on the phone George called his secretary, "Brian! Prepare the file on Sheer Logic! I'll be in the office in an hour, let me find it on my desk when I get there" He hung without letting his secretary get a word in. Poor man, last night he had been given a day off for the first time since the beginning of the year. He had already made plans with his wife but now he had to cancel everything and go to work. He cursed his boss in his heart for being an inconsistent prick. If it was not for the good pay Brian would have quit long time ago. I guess one could be a prick if only they were a well paying prick, the perks of being rich. Brian had been at a theme park across town, he had no time to go back home to get an outfit change. So handing his wife money to get a cab he got into his car speeding off to the office. The car had been a gift from George, on his first week of his work he had been late three consecutive times and had blamed it on the the inconsistent bus schedule. George in turn had dragged him out of the office and just when he was sure he was getting fired he was lead to the car dealership round the corner. This was the first time he had seen his boss walk on the streets and it was fault, the man took a chauffer everywhere. George had picked a car at random filling in the paper work before throwing the keys at Brian. Poor secretary was scared shitless but had no choice but to accept the unconventional gift but this also meant he had to be at work before his boss. This was the reason he was currently blowing red lights across town to get to the office, Brian would rather deal with the cops than an angry George besides he had sounded so angry over the phone. Someone would say that was just a normal order from a boss but Brian who had gotten accustomed to his boss could tell what his mood was over the phone. A drive that would normally take three quarters of on hour barely took him one quarter, running the stairs gasping Brian had gotten to the office sweaty. The face paint he had gotten at the theme park made him look like he was related to penny-wise, he had forgotten  all about it till he almost scared the receptionist half to death. The beauty had screamed so loud while pointing at him garnering the attention of the employees in the floor before they had all burst out laughing. Fuck! Even though his boss resented tardiness, he did not like unpresentable people so the washroom was Brian's first stop. He had to get the paint off of his face first but guess what? When he walked into his office George was already there sitting at his desk looking very impatient. Oh he was f****d! The boss had gotten to work before him, he had not even gotten the Sheer Logic file! But how had George gotten to work that fast, his house was thirty minutes away Brian had used fifteen minutes but was still late. This file must really mean a lot to him. "Where is the file I asked you for?" George asked after noticing Brian was not doing anything, "did I not say to have it on my desk when I got here? So? I did not see it when I got in."  impatiently snapping his fingers. The boss was clearly angry. "Sir, give me a minute I'll just get it" Brian said meekly, the boss was never this angry and Sheer Logic was going to be in trouble. That face held no good news today. Running back to the storage to get required document before he made the raging man angrier than he already was god thing the file was easier to find because it was the one the boss had asked for the most frequently. "Make a call to Sheer Logic, tell them the CEO of Anderson Co-op is requesting an urgent meeting with their boss as soon as possible" George ordered taking the file from Brian." Let us see how you survive this time around." He could bring Sheer Logic back from the brink of bankruptcy and he could also finish it off completely.  The pair of husbands were both on a revenge mission, for now the had different targets maybe the future will be different.
