Liz
We read through the first agreement, and so far, everything looks good. All I ask for is the house. I bought it when I turned 18 and never put his name on the deed after we married. The house was also paid for by my grandparents’ trust, so he can’t lay claim to it. That is why he wants me to sign it over willingly. As if I would ever be that naive.
He also added a specific clause that says that we can’t claim anything from each other once the divorce is finalized. Then he handed me the second one. This agreement has me asking for the house and half of everything that was earned during the marriage, including his pension.
Kyle’s reason for filing for divorce was that I did not fulfill my marital duties, and I also haven’t contributed to the marriage financially. I don’t have physical proof that he wanted me to stay at home, and he will obviously lie and deny it. What I do have, however, is full right to half of everything he owns because there is no prenup.
“Can I tell you tomorrow which one I want to use?” I asked and he nodded. “The ball is in your court. I will support you either way.” He says and I smile. “Thank you for everything, Zander. You are the Christmas miracle I was hoping for. You, and the lottery.” I said and chuckled.
“I think I may be worth more than your lottery winnings, but I will claim first place anyway.” He says, and we both chuckle. “Now, we have plans if I am not mistaken. Let’s go watch your cheesy holiday movies and then stuff our faces some more.” He says and I smile. We left his office and went to his home theater to start our second day movie marathon.
We watched movies and had leftovers for lunch. Then we watched some more movies and had another perfect dinner together. After dinner, we sat in front of the fire pit and drank some wine. “I had a great time with you these past few days. Thank you for making my Christmas extra special.” He says after a moment of silence.
“It really was perfect. I can’t remember when I last enjoyed the holidays this much.” I said, and he smiled. “It was more than perfect. Are you ready for tomorrow?” he asks me and I frown.
“Ask me in the morning. Right now, I don’t want to think about that man.” I say and he smiles. “As you wish,” he says and I nod. We spent the rest of this perfect day on the patio looking at the stars, with wine and good company.
I woke up with a bit of a hangover and in my bed. Once again, this man carried me to bed. I really need to watch my alcohol intake around him. I sat up and grabbed my phone to check the time. I still have time for breakfast before I go see that asshat, Kyle.
I take out the revenge outfit Zander got me, and it really is perfect. It’s a red form-fitting dress that comes down to my knees. It has a deep v-cut and a very revealing open back, although I don't think anyone will see the back. It’s still too cold, but I think I may just brave it to put on a show.
I paired it with a pair of nude pointed stiletto pumps and some stockings. I curled my hair and pinned it up so I could show off my accessories. I put on the jewelry Zander bought me, and took my bag, and went downstairs.
I heard someone whistle and I turned around. “You look perfect. I can’t wait to see the look on that fucker’s face.” He says as he walks over and shows me to turn around. I give him a good show and twirl and then do a very princess-like curtsey and he chuckles. “I feel sexy, it’s a shame to waste it on Kyle.” I say and Zander chuckles.
We enjoy breakfast and then put on our coats and head out to the car. He is driving us in a very sleek two-door sports car. “Wow, I like it,” I say. “You are the first person to ride in this car other than me. This is my pride and joy.” He says and I smile. “Then I am truly a lucky girl.” I say.
“My lady,” he says, and opens the door for me with a dramatic bow that makes me giggle. “Why thank you, kind sir.” I say, and get in. This car really is so sexy and it still has that new car smell. Focus Liz, here we go. Let’s see what Kyle has to say. His actions now will be the deciding factor.
We pull up to my house and Zander parks the car. I see Kyle’s car, another sports car and that b***h, Tiffany’s ugly brown car. “Did you bring your paddles?” I ask him and he looks at me confused. “What paddles, and for what?” he asks. “We need paddles, because we are about to take a ride on douche canoe, down asshole river.” I say with a straight face and he bursts out laughing.
“You sure have a way with words.” He says and I chuckle. “I have recently become very creative in the many ways I can describe that asshole living in my house.” I say and he chuckles. He gets out and opens my door for me, just as his phone rings. “Go ahead, I will be with you in two minutes.” He says and hands me the new agreements.
I go to the front door and open it and walk in. This is my house after all, so I took off my coat, showing off my dress, and walked to the lounge. Kyle, Tiffany and another man are sitting in the lounge. They all look up when they hear me come in. Kyle’s eyes roam my body lustfully and Tiffany glares at me. I smirk when I see her nose is still swollen. The man with them gets up and comes to shake my hand.
“Thank you for coming, Mrs. Stanford. My name is Steven Finch and I am Mr. Stanford’s attorney. Did you go over the agreement we drew up?” he asks. “I did, and I think we both know that it’s a bullshit deal. I had a new one drafted, here is a copy for you to peruse.” I said and handed him two copies of the agreement where I just asked for the house.
He frowns but takes it and hands one to Kyle, who is still looking at my body. “Why the f**k did you draw up a new agreement? You don’t deserve a cent of Kyle’s money.” Tiffany says. “Shut up w***e, no one asked you. You don’t deserve a cent, or maybe you do. I am sure he pays well for your services. And for the record, if you read the amended contract, I only ask for one thing.” I said, and she glared at me.
She grabs the document from Kyle, but he glares at her and grabs it back and reads it. “Oh, I forgot, you can’t read words, only d**k. Even Kyle knows that.” I said, and leaned against the wall. I don’t even want to sit, who knows if they f****d on any of the couches.
“This is ridiculous, this is my house.” Kyle says, looking up from the agreement. “No, I bought this house with my inheritance. I don’t want anything else that you say is yours, you can keep it and give it to your w***e. All I want is this house. It’s mine.” I say, and he gets up.
“I won’t give you anything.” He yells. “Come any closer and I will ruin you. Right now, I just want what is rightfully mine. Don’t press your luck, or I will take this further.” I say and he glares at me. “I see you grew a spine,” he says, looking me up and down.
“I always had one, I just chose to make you feel like you were actually a real man, when we all know you aren’t. So, all gloves are off now. This is me, deal with it.” I said, and he walked towards me. “Mr. Stanford, please come have a seat so we can discuss the new agreement,” the attorney said. I am sure he can see the intent in Kyle's eyes too.
“Listen to your council, touch me, and you will regret it.” I say and he chuckles darkly. “You are still my wife and I can do what I want to you.” He says, stalking towards me, licking his lips. How did I never realize how disgusting he is? “Kyle!” Tiff yells and he just glares at her. “I will teach you a lesson on how to treat your husband.” He says.
“What husband, all I see is a sorry excuse of a man. Just sign the damn papers so I can leave. I can’t stand to be in your presence.” I say. “You f*****g b***h, I will kill you,” he yells. “Take another step, and you will end up behind bars, right after we take everything you own.” Zander says as he walks in.
“Who the f**k are you and what are you doing in my house?” Kyle asks. “I am Zander Caine, Elizabeth’s attorney and this is her house, not yours.” Zander answers and comes over to me to check on me. “Are you okay?” he asks and I nod. “Mr. Caine, what are you doing here?” Kyle’s attorney asks. He was looking at Zander with wide eyes.
“I am here with my client, and it seems I am here to fire you too. I know this man is not a client of the firm, so is he a private client of yours?” Zander asks him. “I, I..” he stutters. “That’s what I thought. Don’t bother clearing out your desk. I don’t trust you, so I will have your personal items sent to you.” Zander says, and the guy just looks at him with an open mouth.
“What the f**k is going on Steve? Who is this asshole?” Kyle asks. “He is my boss and no one you want to go up against. Just sign the f*****g agreement you i***t. I told you this whole thing was wrong and bullshit. But you never f*****g listen. You just ruined my life you asshole.” Steven says and gets up.
“I am sorry, Mr. Caine. I was just doing a favor for a family member.” Steven says. “I understand helping family, but you knew that agreement you drew up was wrong, and you still did it. You helped him try to screw a good innocent woman over. There are also clear signs of infidelity on his part, and you still want to leave her with nothing.” Zander says, and Steve looks down.
“Do what you must, he deserves it.” Steve says and takes his briefcase and leaves. “Where the f**k are you going?” Kyle yells after him. Steve shows him the middle finger and walks out the door. I had to chuckle, and that earned me another glare from Kyle.
