DYLAN'S POV
I decided to leave the room because speaking to Laila was upsetting. I was grateful that she was finally forgiving me a chance, but I wasn’t ready to answer all the questions she had for me. She deserved to know everything about me and my family, but now wasn’t the time. I had to be careful about how I revealed all this information to her. I didn’t want to overwhelm her with this that she wasn’t ready to hear. It wasn’t as if I was planning to keep this information from her. Even if that was my intention, I wouldn’t be able to because she had to meet the pack.
Unless, of course, I had to leave the pack. However, as long as I was the future kind, I had to come clean with her.
It was best if I told her about my true nature first before telling her about my parents. How would
