LAILA’S POV
I was starting to come to terms with the fact that I was stuck in this place. I couldn’t even see how this man was going to ever let me go because he seemed determined to keep me as one of his wives. That wasn’t even what was concerning me, my biggest concern was that these women that were calling themselves his wives seemed to be very territorial. They seemed to all think that I was here trying to take something that belonged to them. Hearing that I was now staying with him was definitely something that was going to get them talking about me and plotting against me.
Grace had already made it clear to me that she considered herself as the queen bee and she wasn’t keen on sharing that spot with me. I wished they would all understand that I was being kept here against my will.
