Nia's eyes fluttered closed as she drifted off to sleep, her mind still reeling from the events of the day. But as soon as she slipped into the realm of dreams, she found herself back in the vibrant world of colors and winged beings. At first, everything seemed just as beautiful and tranquil as it had been in her previous dream. The sky was a brilliant shade of purple, and the ground was covered in a soft, iridescent mist. The winged creatures flitted about, their feathers shimmering in the light. But as Nia watched, a dark shadow began to spread across the land. Flames erupted from the ground, engulfing everything in their path. The winged beings screamed and flailed, their wings beating wildly as they tried to escape the inferno. Nia tried to run, but her feet felt heavy and unresponsive. She was frozen in place, unable to move or look away as the beautiful world was consumed by fire. As the flames died down, Nia saw that everything had been reduced to ashes. The ground was black and charred, and the air was thick with the acrid smell of smoke. The winged creatures lay motionless, their wings broken and still. A female figure emerged from the shadows, her body made of black smoke and her eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. "This is your destiny," she hissed, her voice like a rusty gate. "This is what will become of your world if you do not embrace your true power." Nia's heart raced as the figure vanished, leaving her alone in the desolate landscape. She knew that she had to escape the dream and had to wake up before it was too late. With a surge of adrenaline, Nia finally managed to open her eyes. She was back in her bed, her room bathed in the soft glow of moonlight. But as she sat up, she realized that something was different. Her body was glowing with a soft blue light, pulsing with an otherworldly energy. Nia's heart raced as she stared at her glowing form, unsure of what was happening or how to control it. But as she looked around her room, she saw that the blue light was illuminating everything, casting a mystical glow over even the darkest corners. Nia's eyes widened as she gazed at her glowing body, her mind racing with questions. What was happening to her? How was she generating this blue light? As she looked around the room, she saw Jewel stirring in her sleep, as if sensing the strange energy emanating from Nia. Jewel's eyes fluttered open, and she sat up with a start, her gaze fixed on Nia's radiant form. "Nia, what's going on?" Jewel asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "You're...glowing." Nia shook her head, still trying to understand what was happening. "I don't know," she admitted. "I just woke up like this." Jewel's eyes widened as she scrambled out of bed and approached Nia. "This is incredible," she breathed. "I've never seen anything like it." As Jewel drew closer, Nia could feel the blue light pulsing stronger, as if responding to Jewel's presence. She raised a hand, and to her amazement, the light began to swirl and take shape, forming a glowing orb that hovered in the air before her. "Whoa!" Jewel exclaimed, her eyes fixed on the orb. "You're doing that, Nia. You're creating this energy." Nia's mind raced as she stared at the orb, feeling a strange connection to it. She could sense its power and its potential. And with Jewel's help, she could even possibly unlock the secrets of this mysterious energy. Jewel's eyes widened in amazement as she gazed at the glowing orb, her voice barely above a whisper. "Nia, this is incredible, but also a bit unsettling. I've never seen anything like it before." Nia's gaze flicked to Jewel's face, noting the mix of wonder and wariness in her expression. She knew that Jewel was thinking of telling Khalil, and she couldn't let that happen. "Jewel, promise me you won't tell Khalil about this," Nia said, her voice low and urgent. Jewel's eyes narrowed, and her brow furrowed in concern. "Nia, I don't know if that's a good idea. Khalil needs to know what's going on with you." Nia's grip on Jewel's arm tightened. "Promise me, Jewel. I don't want Khalil to know about this yet. I need to understand what's happening to me first." Jewel hesitated, then nodded. "Okay, Nia. I promise. But we need to figure out what's going on with you fast. This energy is powerful, and I don't want you to get hurt." Nia let out a sigh of relief as Jewel agreed to keep her secret. "Thank you, Jewel. Let's work together to uncover the truth behind this energy. Just us, for now." “We can head to the family archives to see what I can find out in the morning. Do you know how to turn it off?” Jewel asked. Nia closed her eyes and breathed deeply, willing the energy to dissipate, and was surprised to find out it did exactly as she asked it to. Was this energy bonded to her own will? The next day, Nia and Jewel were engrossed in research in the palace library, seeking answers about Nia's mysterious energy. In the throne room, Khalil received a formal visit from Princess Amber and Prince Mecca, accompanied by their soldiers. Khalil's expression turned guarded as he rose from his throne, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "Welcome, Prince Mecca, Princess Amber," Khalil said, his voice polite but cautious. "I trust you're here to keep our families' agreement intact." Princess Amber, a stunning woman with curly brown hair and a regal demeanor, stepped forward. "Indeed, Prince Khalil. Our fathers' pact still stands. I am here to fulfill my duty and unite our kingdoms through our marriage, ending the war between our families." Khalil's gaze narrowed, his mind racing with the implications. He had never been fond of the arrangement, and now things were different now that he had found his mate, but he also knew his duty as a prince of his family. "I remember the agreement. But I must ensure my kingdom's safety above all." Prince Mecca, a tall, broad-shouldered man with a strong jaw and piercing brown eyes, spoke up. "We understand your concerns, Khalil. We come in peace, seeking to strengthen our alliance and put an end to the bloodshed."
