Chapter Seven

"I'm so sorry! Please don't fire me! I need this job!" I begged, running over to him and clutching his shirt. He gave me a pointed look and I knew all too well what was about to happen. He wasn't gonna fire me. He was gonna put me in charge of the ground. I'll have to walk around and let anyone take me into a private area so I could give them a show. My boss never gave me this position before because he knew I hated it but this was punishment for being late. This can't be happening. "You are on ground duty." He announced and confirmed my assumptions. "No! Please please please, I'm begging you..." I whimpered. I haven't cried since the day I lost my brother from a wolf but I won't let this little incident break me. I won't ever cry again. I won't cry for anyone or anything. I'm a strong girl. He narrowed his eyes on me and looked away, knowing I'd make him break if he continued to stare at me. "No, angel. Now go to work or else you're fired." I gasped with wide eyes and nodded, scrambling out of the room and into the main room where all the males are. When I walked in lots of the guys turned their heads to look at me but two people caught my attention. Tyler and Tristan. They were here again? Why? I just shook my head and tried to ignore those two but I noticed they were signaling for me to go over there. I raised a brow but went over to them anyway, I had to ask them why they were here for the second time. "You guys again?" I joked when I reached them, they chuckled and shook their heads. "We're here just to see you." Tristan answered which creeped me out. Why are they here for me? They must've sensed my fear because concerned flashed through their eyes. "Angel, we just wanna talk." I gulped and nodded, letting out a shaky breath. They can't make any moves on me in here could they? Maybe one of them will take me into a private room then do something? No, I shouldn't be thinking like this. "Look, last night when we went home we thought long and hard about you, we noticed you didn't look like you wanted to be here." Tristan started. "How could you tell? I thought I was hiding it good enough." I whispered to myself but they heard me. "Why do you work here if you hate it?" Tristan asked with confusion. "Uh... I don't think I'm ready to tell you guys. I like you two and all but I can't tell you, I'm sorry." "We understand but will you eventually tell us? We wanna know." "Yeah. I suppose." I blurted. "Thanks angel." They gave me a toothy smile which I returned. "So, you guys wanna be friends?" I suggested and they didn't hesitate before nodding their heads. I chuckled, "Rushing things now aren't we?" I joked and they rolled their eyes simultaneously. "How about we talk when I'm not working, like what about tomorrow we meet at the park?" I suggested. I usually go to the park after work but I didn't go last night because of that weird guy. "Sounds like a date." Tristan grinned and I slapped his arm playfully. "Nope, I don't go on dates anymore. Ever since my last boyfriend began to abuse me I broke up with him before things got bad." I shrugged. "We're sorry to hear that." Tyler said apologetically and I brushed him off. "It's fine, no worries." I replied. "Well I should get going, see you tomorrow at one in the afternoon guys." I waved at them and they waved back. "Yeah, see you tomorrow angel." Tristan said and we both went our separate ways. I'm gonna go to the park after I get out of work. I haven't been there in a while because I had to take care of Ruthless. I walked around the strip club as my mind began to wander off from boredom. Whenever I'm bored my mind drifts off to some weird place that interests me more than whatever was boring me. I know, I'm weird but I can't help it. I'm positive nobody likes to be bored, besides, the other reason why I'm boring myself is because I'm not risking the chance of seeing Ryder again by going outside and leaving early. Plus I don't wanna get fired. "Angel, it closing time." Tim's voice broke me from my train of thoughts. What? It's closing time already? How long were me and the other two talking? Damn. "Oh, okay." I shrugged and walked out the back, I still had my coat so I wrapped it around me even more as I began to walk. I was gonna visit the park.
