Chapter 9: I’ve Met an Expert

934 Words
Louis recalled that other than him and that little brat, there was no one else in the bathroom at the airport. He didn't think that a little kid like that could do such a thing to him. But apart from that little brat, who else knew about this? Or was there someone else in one of the bathroom cubicles that he wasn't aware of? Louis frowned heavily. Dominic felt a stifling atmosphere in the office. He unbuttoned his shirt a little, as if it would make him feel better. Louis suddenly said, "Has Catherine been picked up?" ... He went to the airport specifically for Catherine, but he came back empty handed. He didn't know what she looked like, so he asked Dominic to hold a signboard up. Unfortunately, no one came to them. Dominic noticed that Louis had changed the subject and said, "According to a message from America, Catherine has arrived. Perhaps we were late, or she was on a different flight. Mr. Stone, this Catherine is pretty arrogant. Anyway, she's just a designer. She should be honoured that you went to pick her up personally. The fact that she stood you up is just..." "Hurry up and get rid of the video. If I still see that video on the Internet five minutes later, you're gonna have to find a cemetery for yourself. It'll be my gift to you. Get out!" Louis suddenly interrupted him. He was very gloomy. Dominic quickly shut his mouth and ran out. "Five minutes?" he thought. He didn't know what kind of trojan virus the hacker had installed, getting rid of the virus alone was going to take five minutes. It was as if Mr. Stone was trying to stress him to death at a young age. Louis immediately turned on the computer after Dominic left his office. He found that the company's security system had been breached entirely, and it had been disabled. "Who was it?" he wondered. Who would do this to him? Louis' brows were tightly knitted. He began to tap away on the keyboard. Rows of code appeared on the computer screen and he managed to break through the first layer of the virus. Trenton locked himself in his room in order to not see Eliza. He turned on the computer and looked at the crippling state of Bullimited's security system. A smile appeared on his face. With the trojan virus, Louis will definitely be in a pickle now. Suddenly, his computer screen flickered. The first layer of his firewall had been attacked. Trenton frowned instantly. "Apparently there are computer experts in Bullimited." he thought. Trenton quickly tapped away on the keyboard and continued to upload the torrent file. Louis figured out the other party's whereabouts and quickly locked in on it. "No matter who you are, I will definitely catch you today!" Louis hadn't been this angry in so long, and he had never even dealt with this kind of thing personally for a long time either. He admitted that this hacker was indeed skilled, but in his opinion, the other party was still a little too inexperienced. When Trenton saw that his screen had been frozen, he knew that he had been caught by the other person. "Oh no! "I've met an expert!" he thought. Trenton wanted to quit, but he couldn't control his computer screen. "What do I do? "I can't expose our location!" he thought. Trenton suddenly had an idea and quickly connected the computer to a VPN. With a "ding" sound from the computer, the trojan virus had been decoded, and his IP address had been locked in. Louis looked at the IP address, and his frown deepened. "Dominic, come in!" Dominic quickly ran in as he heard Louis call out to him. "Mr. Stone." "Find out where this IP address is." Louis handed his discovery over to Dominic. When Dominic saw the address, he was stunned. "What's wrong?" "Mr. Stone, this IP address is the address of the Stone family's old house," Dominic said while trembling. ... "What did you say?" Louis' face fell instantly, and the stifling atmosphere made Dominic break out in a cold sweat. "It's true, Mr. Stone. This is the address of the Stone family's old house. I personally set up the IP address there." Louis' eyes darkened. This person was rather cunning. It seemed that this person had installed a VPN last minute and changed the IP address. However, this person was so familiar with him and the Stone family. Who could it be? "It would be terrible if this was my own rival!" Louis thought. "Go investigate! I don't care what you do, I must have the source of this video and information about this hacker!" "Yes, sir!" Dominic ran out quickly with a heavy sense of responsibility on his shoulders. Trenton collapsed on the chair. It seemed that this crappy father of his was not a fool. He had almost been exposed. He had to be more careful in the future. "Trenton, come out for dinner." Rebecca knocked on Trenton's door, which startled Trenton to quickly exit the webpage. He clicked on a video game and said lazily, "Got it. I'll be right there." The moment he opened the door, Rebecca's gaze swept in. When she saw the game on the computer, she shook her head slightly. "How many times have I told you? Stop playing so many games, you just don't listen. Also, you have to apologize to Aunty Eliza later, understand?" Trenton frowned again. "You want me to apologize to that old woman? Are you kidding me?"
