I The next day, Asalea woke up without her husband beside her anymore. Immediately, she refreshed herself and went out of their room. She went directly to their dining area and saw their head chef. “Have you seen my King husband Chef? Did he eat breakfast already?” “He was here a while ago, Queen Lea but he only ate a little,” the chef replied. She nodded and left upon saying thank you to their chef. She tried looking for him at his office, but he was not there too. She went next to his throne, but no one was sitting there. She looked for Dreckos but she could not find him inside the palace either. Without any other recourse, she asked the guard at the palace door. “Have you seen the King?” The palace guard nodded. “They are putting some warning devices around the palace, Queen Lea, so that we will all be alarmed in case of an attack from enemies.” “I see. Thank you for the information.” She decided to return to the dining area and ate a little breakfast. She needed to feed herself as she was really starving. After finishing her breakfast, she walked around the palace until she reached the balcony on the third floor. From there she could see some men attaching something around the palace’s fence. She also saw her husband. When her husband glanced in her direction, she waved her hand and he waved back. He even made a flying kiss, which made her giggle. She stood on the balcony until she saw that the men were already finished with what they were doing. She needed to tell something to King Timodore. She returned to their room and waited there for her King husband. After a while, she heard knocks on the door. Excitedly, she opened it and there she saw King Timodore standing with a smile on his face. He swept her off and put her down on the bed. “How are you, wife? Have you eaten?” “Yes, a little. By the way, husband, I would like to ask something.” She looked at him seriously. “Hmm, it’s nice to hear you calling me a husband. Anyway, what’s your concern, wife? He lay down beside her. “Do you have guns here?” “Why are you asking?” “We need guns with silver bullets to kill werewolves.” “We have our armory, my wife. All the guards have guns with silver bullets on their waists.” He moved by his side, leaning toward her now. “I see. That means you are a very efficient king.” King Timodore laughed and tickled his wife’s nose, to her laughter. As days passed by they were getting along more and getting used to each other's presence. Queen Asalea would easily miss him whenever he is not around, same with King Timodore to his wife. II In the Ecleteon Kingdom, King Burkano had a meeting with his head of armies and elder councils. “We have our next target to attack, the Glodeous Kingdom. I have heard that they have a new king, who is still young and might not be too powerful yet. He recently got married and most probably his focus is still on his new wife. Be ready, we will attack three days from now.” King Burkano declared. “We have heard from another pact, our nearby Kingdom called Greydomans, that three of their werewolves have been killed and those who survived said that those were Glodeous vampires that they had encountered,” the Head of their army said. “So, you know their plans? Are they going to take revenge and attack too?” King Burkano stood up from his chair while waiting for the reply to his question. The head of the army continued. “They are planning but not too soon. According to them, the King of Glodeous, ‘though still young, is a very strong and powerful vampire. He inherited his entire parent’s power before they died.” King Burkano laughed and said, “King Burkano is still more powerful than any vampire King. Remember what I did to the vampire King of Knostica? They are nothing. All we need to do is to surprise them with our attack just like what we did with the Knosticans.” “What if we wait for them to have a celebration also?” one of the elder councillors suggested. “We never know when it will happen. We will attack three days from now, so be ready.” King Burkano insisted. III After having their thirst-quenching lovemaking, Asalea deeply falls into her sleep while King Timodore is still awake, watching his wife. “I did not know you well yet, my dear wife. I hope I will get to know you better. Know you fully,” he whispered. All of a sudden, he saw her grunting, and then she breathed so heavily like she was running fast. He waited for her to be pacified, but Asalea suddenly shouted like she feared someone. “No, No! Don’t please,” Asalea shouted while in her sleep and tears rolled down her cheeks. King Timodore immediately hugged Asalea and murmured, “Wife, wake up, wake up. Come on wake up.” He said while rubbing her back hard now. Queen Asalea stopped to shout but continued to sob. King Timodore, kissed her deeply to awaken her. After deeper kisses, Queen Asalea woke up. “Awake now?” King Timodore asked, still hugging his wife. Queen Asalea’s eyes were deemed haunted when she looked at King Timodore. “What is it my Queen, tell me.” He encouraged her to speak. “Werewolves, werewolves, they are coming to us.” Fears can be seen in her eyes.
