Chapter 9 - King Timodore's Doubt

1038 Words
I King Timodore could not remove from his mind Queen Lea’s anger towards the Ecleteon Werewolves. Is there something that her Queen is hiding from him that he ought to know? He did not want to doubt his wife, but he could not avoid it. He wanted to find out whatever is being hidden from him by his Queen as he wanted to fully protect her. Queen Asalea while lying on their bed, is in her deep thoughts. How can she make amends to King Timodore for lying to him? How could he tell him that her true name is Asalea and not Lea and that she is the only heir to the throne of the fallen Knostican Kingdom that has been besieged and trampled down in the end by the Ecleteon Werewolves? What if he came to realize that her purpose for coming in his Kingdom to wed him was to use him against the Ecleteons in the pursuit of her revenge? Would he still be the same in giving her the care and affection that she is experiencing from him now? Asalea is regretting now for lying to King Timodore. As of now, she knows that marrying King Timodore was the best thing that ever happened in her life. She is not here anymore to use him against Ecleteon Werewolves. She is here now as his wife, who loves him and is willing to be with him for the rest of her life. She is here now to make him happy and not just to use him. “Hahh, what a fool I have been!” Queen Asalea is cursing herself for her wrongdoings. She wanted to bring back time and change what she had done. Queen Asalea fell asleep with a worried mind that could be clearly seen on her face. As King Timodore entered their room, he saw his sleeping wife. He couldn’t help to caress her beautiful curly blonde hair and pretty face. He never regretted marrying her. She is everything that he is looking for in a wife. He cannot ask for more. So, whatever might endanger her, he would be fast enough to protect her. He needs to know everything about her. As Asalea moves her sleeping position from sideways to lying flat on her back, her beautiful body has been extremely exposed inside the lacy type of night dress that she is wearing. King Timothy raked his wife’s body with his admiring eyes and, after a few moments, he could not control himself more. He tenderly kissed her, put himself on top of her, and started to caress her. Queen Asalea suddenly opened her eyes as she sensed that someone was on top of her. As she opened her eyes, what she saw were those deep blue sparkling eyes of her husband. He was staring at her with tenderness in his eyes. Asalea smiled and opened her lips to welcome the kisses of her husband. That day they shared one of their most passionate lovemakings and they fell asleep with smiles on their faces. II Glodeous Kingdom was all ready for the attack of the Ecleteon Werewolves. They have put traps around the palace. They are silver wires that once werewolves run through them, their bodies will be cut into pieces. Glodeous guards are fully equipped also with guns loaded with silver bullets. Should any of the Ecleteon Werewolves pass through unharmed in the silver wire traps, they will not live longer once silver bullets penetrate their bodies. The Ecleteon Werewolves, on the other hand, are now rejoicing in advance. Their attack would be a surprise to the Glodeous vampires because they cannot be able to fight back, just like what they did with the Knostican Vampires. They are too excited to smash the hearts of these Glodeous Vampires, especially their newly crowned King Timodore. Ecleteon Werewolves did not know that they would be having their greatest surprise in life, instead of the Glodeous vampires, upon their attack on the Glodeous Kingdom and it might be their last day on earth. The Glodeous Vampires were waiting for the Ecleteon Werewolves, ready to kill them all as ordered by their King Timodore and Queen Lea. As the sun rises, growls of werewolves can be heard near the Kingdom of Glodeous. The Ecleteon Werewolves with their sharp fangs and claws were ready to attack now their planned victims. King Timodore gave his signal by giving a short whistle. The guards and all the male vampires around readied themselves. All children and female vampires were already secluded in their secret underground building, including Queen Asalea. Yet, Queen Asalea could not just stay in this secret room while the Ecleteon Werewolves who murdered her parents are outside trying to kill her husband and his men. Without being noticed by anyone, she made herself invisible and ran towards the battleground. Queen Asalea could hear growls of werewolves; they were near but waiting for something before finally hitting them with their attacks. She wanted to know what they were doing out there; with her invisible form, none of these werewolves would notice her. She ran to the back door and there she saw the Ecleteon werewolves in their fighting forms ready to jump off their Palace’s fence. At the farthest part, Queen Asalea saw King Burkano of the Ecleteon Werewolves, giving his loudest growl as a signal for his werewolves to attack now. Queen Asalea jumped as high as she could and landed exactly at one arm's length, far from the back of King Burkano. Her sharp nails are ready to dig the heart of King Burkano and smash it like a mashed potato. She would kill him in a flash. King Burkano however, felt something on his back. He suddenly turned his head and gazed at his front with his sharp red eyes. Queen Asalea holds her breath as it might be heard by King Burkano. She became very keen on watching every move of the King of the Ecleteon Werewolves. In her mind, she is counting; just a few seconds and King Burkano’s head will be rolling down with the help of her silver Swiss knife and his heart will be smashed into bits.
