Leo pulled back and laughed. “Nice try. But we both know I’m not going to fall for that.”
I rolled my eyes and slid away from him.
“So, if you don’t want just anyone what makes you so crazy about April?” I asked.
There was a slight change in Leo’s demeanor.
And he gave me a look that gave me chills.
“I’m smarter than you think. And this is my last warning, stop meddling in things that don’t concern you, you won’t like what happens to you if you don’t.”
