Chapter 53
Day 5
Helena had walked out of Jayce’s room.
There was no explanation.
I had walked out my room to head down for breakfast and turned to see Helena and Jayce coming around the corner and only Jayce’s room was in that wing of the house.
And she was wearing PJs!
I quickly turned my head, I didn’t want them to know I was looking at them.
I reminded myself it was none of my business even though a felt my heart clench.
I was about to turn around and walk back into the room when the door opened from behind me and April bumped into me.
“Ouch”
“Oof”
“Hey guys, what’s up?” Jayce asked us as they walked closer.
I shook my head, “Nothing…I just forgot my phone.” That was a lie, it was in my pocket but I didn’t want to talk to Jayce or Helena and needed an escape.
