Living with the Enemy
“You have everything?” Bella asked.
I nodded.
“And you sure you don’t want me to drive you over there?” She asked.
“No, Jayce will be here any minute and you have to leave soon. You should go pack and get ready Bella.”
She smiled. “Thank you for agreeing to this. I will call you and check in.”
I smiled at my sister and turned to leave.
“Ivy wait!” She yelled behind me.
I turned around and my sister pulled me in for a hug.
I hugged her and patted her back.
“Bella, I’m just going to stay at someone’s house for a week, not off to war.” I tried joking.
Bella squeezed me tighter. “We’ve been together for the past year, I’ve had you by my side every day.”
