Day 3 (Part 1)
Last night had been a mistake.
I had fallen back into a trap that I shouldn’t have.
I had been so close to letting Jayce through again.
And I couldn’t.
I had to remember that he was the reason for my most recent pain.
But I also couldn’t deny the connection between us. I needed to learn to ignore it though. It couldn’t cause a lot more trouble for me and throw me off my mission.
That was why I was sitting on a bench in the park, cursing myself for my actions last night.
