  KATHERINE’S POV   When I saw the outline of my old pack house in the sunset light, it was hard to keep the tears at bay. I was exhausted, heartbroken for those children who had just lost everything, and the pictures of the devastation of the Blood Moon’s pack house were still fresh and storming around in my mind. But at least I was home. At least, those children would have a safe place where to live, a bed and a hot meal, a new family. And I could finally stop holding on for them and cry my heart out.
