“Are you joking right now?” I asked him, feeling how my own cheeks turned pink once I had heard his words. Jeremy’s smile turned into a damned smirk, one that made him devilishly handsome at the same time as making him look like a smuck, which made me want to smack it right off of his lips at that exact moment because he was making me blush. Hadn’t I already told him that I didn’t feel the same way for him as he did for me? I mean sure, I lied straight through my teeth… but it was needed in order to protect him in the long run.
