Leon didn't call or text me all weekend. As I waited for him to come and pick me up for school, I tried reading a book to get my mind off it. My father was perusing a newspaper beside me on the sofa but I knew he wasn't really reading. He kept glancing over to me with a small, smug smile. He probably thought Leon and I had a fight.
