As I lifted my head and caught sight of the newcomer, a surge of helplessness washed over me, intensifying my struggle and causing my tears to flow even more freely.
"Al... Alphonse, please... help me," I pleaded, my hand trembling as I felt the sharp sting of fangs against my lips. "Something feels off... Everything is so strange... Please."
He stared at me, a mix of shock and amusement dancing in his eyes, as if he too couldn't quite believe what was happening. And as the pain slowly receded from my body, I sensed something stirring within me, something I couldn't quite comprehend. Before I knew it, my eyelids grew heavy, and the last thing I remembered was Alphonse lifting me from the ground.
